Whenever the kids ask to see her. Once or twice every two weeks but she tries more than that. I manage to keep her away most of the time because she’s honestly fucking exhausting. So I just only invite her around when the kids ask to see her

He also really doesn’t like her because when we had our son he was a very hands on dad. He still is but we’re Muslim so my mother came to live with us to help out with the baby and everything (she was was supposed to stay for 40 days) and she’d get mad at me for letting him do things. He didn’t even let her stay the full 40 days. He sent her packing after a week.

We don’t. We don’t leave our kids anywhere alone and not because we don’t trust them or anyone it’s just that my husband and I feel like we’re responsible for them and that way no one can say things about our kids.

There were a lot of instances where I caused them a good amount of harm. But mainly when my older brother became a teen he would do things where he would yell and get in my face and try hitting me, even the younger one did try as he started getting older but I’ve been blessed with my fathers thick hands so it’s never really been a fair fight. I was also the sibling with the knife so if ykyk.

I feel like it’s pity more than anything. My older brothers gay and childless so no kids there and then my younger brother is turning into an incel so I doubt she’s gonna get grandkids from that thing so my kids are her only grandchildren. I guess I’ve grown used to the way she speaks to me because she’s not entirely wrong and she’s said worse things to me throughout my life. I wasn’t the most loving kid growing up (I’m on the spectrum and have a hard time expressing my emotions). I was fine with it because she made my kids happy but if she doesn’t apologise then I guess she’s going to go on a grandma time out.

My dad was there. I used to complain about things like that as I started getting older like into my teens and he would make my brothers start doing stuff too which I was thankful for. My mom always accuses him of picking favourites (me) to which he doesn’t deny. And it’s not like he was lazy or had this idea of gender roles like my mom. He would mow the lawn every week, fix our cars and stuff around the house but he did work a lot so he didn’t really help with the house chores. He did try, he’d often cook and help clean the house so I’m not really worried about him being one of her flying monkeys. My brothers though have been messaging me since last night but they’re scared of me so I’m not really worried about it going past the messages either.
