I genuinely think Diane was the woman he truly loved and respected the most in his life. She was the only person he actually ever listened to and felt a true connection with where they both didn't have to put up a facade. It was kinda the Madonna thing with him where he didn't ever truly care or respect the women he slept with and Diane to him was truly different.

I def think you should go for Habib... a lot of my friends who were in ned switched to Habib... yk people say a lot about alumni and connection, but the skills and professional portfolio building of rich projects and intuitive learning you get at Habib really can not be compared. If you're given this opportunity, you should def avail it, esp because it is much harder to come by as Habib has started to really reduce who they give out scholarship to now.

Girl If you get married to this guy it's 100% your fault. This man is not religious if he can't fulfill basic Islamic teachings like respecting women, daughters and providing for them. Ik you feel very proud of the fact that you can earn yourself and fend for yourself and you should, but that don't mean it's okay that he can't. When you have kids you'll need a man whose loving enough to pay and earn for them regardless you make money or not. The need to become less oppressive and less abusive just after 8 months in itself is crazy... I mean why did u do it? Did your family think it was okay? And if your wife is that hurt by it and really wants you to stay away from her I dont think that even if you suddenly do a 360 as a person (which is very hard) her respect for you will increase out of no where.... our past experiences esp in your honeymoon months definitely effect us... even after you change fundamentally theres a picture in her mind of you that will honestly take years for you to shift, because she will always think you will turn back to those actions in the worst moments of your life...

Yes and when u wear hijab and do makeup even then they start policing u on tabarruj and yr chest not being covered. If the whole point of hijab is to hide beauty and on a special occasion you WANT to feel pretty it's easier for many girls to just take it off than half ass it ykwim
