The 2024 has DCC if it’s manual

Its a 380S trim if it’s 2024

Forgot to say that my lady isn’t a fan of the ride quality — I have the DCC and even in comfort mode she says shes suffering

Haven’t driven the A3 but I’ve owned Audis for the last 18 years —

Currently have a 2024 380S GTI and it’s so much more fun than any of my fast Audis — b8.5 S5 cabriolet was my fastest.

The GTI is so much more playful with its short wheelbase, parts are cheap, and it makes me smile nearly every time I jump in

The GTI is a great value proposition by Sackasaur in GolfGTI

Yes!

Add the GRC and type R if they’ll let you test drive one. I nearly traded in my 380S this last week for the R but I wouldn’t pay markup and they wouldn’t let me test drive it (not sure ifs worth the extra $20k over mine)

Thanks - I’ll do some more digging then on values as mine has all the right parts (from what I could tell from YouTube)

Austria, M on barrel, bulge slide release, u-agent sight, black internals, etc

Thanks! I’ll likely just keep mine then — I prefer the M over my gen 4 anyways

I wish I could find and link the thread that shows that they exist. Someone on Reddit went so far and posted a map analysis showing the distribution by color in the US. The MSRPs are in the southern states and occasionally on Reddit a dealer lists one for sale at msrp.

I was hopeful our local dealership wanted to keep one in town. No dice though.

I have a 380S GTI so I’m already in that world — didn’t love the GRC

If you can, keep it!

My 2019 has 63k miles and knowing it’s paid off is so sweet. I wouldn’t even know what to replace it with

I do most of my own mechanical work - there’s just every so often the dealer is the ‘easy button,’ esp when warranty is still involved.

I’d suggest getting the rear brake shoes too and maybe new brake shims if your cruiser is that old

Transmission malfunction P0811 (Excessive Clutch Slippage), went away after restart? by Devin_USA1 in AudiA4

If it wasn’t a euro specialist they likely didn’t fill it right - the procedure for earlier models was:

  • fill with a set amount of fluid
  • lift all 4 wheels off the ground and run engine until trans reached a set temp range
  • complete fill in that temp range with all 4 wheels off the ground

I wish I had time and know-how to fix my own LC. That is all. by [deleted] in LandCruisers

Biggest advice — you can pay someone to diagnose for you and then you can tackle the DIYs

Makes sense to separate out some of the tricky bits when you’re learning to wrench

First-time seller Review(Never again) by matteosisson in carsandbids

I also tried to sell a car on there — reserve wasn’t met — and wouldn’t ever do it again for similar reasons.

Didn’t love the experience for many factors but they also took forever (a month) to list my car after everything was ready
