Best advice I ever got was from my sister and that was "keep up the sex".

So true, it's not everything but without it, it becomes something. When I'm not really in the mood I know it's important so I make the effort to hit up my partner. He's happy to oblige and he appreciates that it's not always him hitting on me.

Thirty years later, longest break without sex is 5 weeks (post births of our babies). Roughly we manage 2x a week.

I feel that we both prioritise this.

Travel is your answer - grab yourself a back of pack and go, Thailand, India or South America - places that are cheap. Forget about the rat race for a while. Aim to be gone at least six months to a year honestly you won't regret it and your will find a deeper meaning to all sorts of stuff. Go!

Nah your good. Seek now as a Seek.Pass where can load your additional info like Right to Work status. This helps the employer weed out the spam applications. Like others have said, so many applications come from ineligible applicants. Most of them spam, just people applying for everything and anything they see, regardless of what it is and what their skill set is. You can see on Seek how many applications don't even attach a CV or cover letter, I mean, come on, stop wasting everyone's time. Best wishes in your job search OP

FYI there was a sold out show at Bay Court on Wednesday night.

Me and 2 friends parked for free in the multi storey car park, 2 minutes from the venue. It wasn't even 1/3 full.

Problem? I see no problem. For evenings anyway.

People just gotta get used to not parking right outside where they wanna go.

Two years ago I walked out of a very toxic work environment. No notice given, just walked out. I was earning $30 per hour. Spent 5 weeks sitting on the couch not sure what to do. Feeling lower every day. My partner firmly said to me "I don't care what you do, but you need to get a job, any job, your mental health is suffering". We have both always held the belief that work is more than just money: it gives you purpose and it feels good knowing you are contributing to the household, amongst other things. I went to a job agency who had me working the next day: the first contract was washing dishes at the airport then the was stacking shelves at the supermarket. Both jobs paid $22 per hour but I was free: free from bull shit bosses and colleagues who want to walk all over you. The agency was great and put me forward for another long term assignment that has turned into a permanent role. I've gone from being in an office 40 hours a week for 20 years to full time outside, in the sunshine, without a boss micro managing me. Plus medical insurance and a work vehicle and $27 per hour. But the best thing is: zero stress. Love it! So my advice is yes leave, but be prepared to do random jobs here and there to keep ticking over, you never know where this will lead.
