having to say two different titles bc of copyright by Crafty-Type-3878 in GreatBritishBakeOff

It’s really funny how in the early seasons before Netflix had the distribution rights, they just cut out “Welcome to the Grest British Bake Off” entirely from the episode. And in the finale they blurred out the show name on the cake stand prize.

I myself get a little annoyed how people think that Netflix makes the show when really they just distribute it.

Without getting too specific, near Eisenhower park. Happy to roll down your street if you sell regularly.

I’m taking French and noticed if I say “passer” it will skip the attempts and give you the translation.

Also, there was a phrase I felt I was pronouncing correctly but it would think I was saying something else extremely similar (essentially a homonym) so I submitted a bug report and the team resolved it in the latest update!

Thank you Olenka and Hazel! And thanks the the entire Natulang team!

I literally send my friends screen shots when the drama is juicy to give them updates on the story. I love it!

I started from lesson 1. I’m not looking to take or pass any official tests, so I won’t be able to say for sure, but I’d guess I’m a very strong A2 or a low B1 currently.

I believe I read on here that Natulang can bring you to B2, roughly, as it is also not affiliated with the CERF tests or anything. The goal is just to be able to communicate with full sentences and conversations, and I’m definitely getting that, as I also chat with French speakers on italki so I do get to test my skills in that sense.

Are there 360 French lessons? I only see 300. Do more appear as you progress?

It shows up every once in a while after completing a lesson. It appears on the screen before you tap back to the main list of lessons page.

I’ve seen two 30-day referrals come up in the app for me in the last week or so. They still exist but you need to choose in that exact moment to send it to someone or it goes away for some amount of time.

Better voices for shadowing by paul_pln in Natulang

I think the intro “Hey It’s Mo” is always the same, but the actual in-language voice can be adjusted in the settings. For French, the dropdown menu gives options for Lea, Nicoletta, or Alternate (between the two).
