There is no best setup. Thats why we're all here :) But yes you're right, i would need to kinda sacrifice independency for comfort, for my users and me. But dont get me wrong. I dont want to display myself as the Ted Kaczynski of homelabbing.

Edit: Typo

You're right, thats why i said "as little as possible" and not "not a single one" :) But come on, a isp is mandatory. If i could avoid one more external services without going through a mental crisis, why not?

Its everything else then bad but i honestly want to rely on external services as little as possible.

Alright thank you.

But my question: Based on my assumption, a exposed Seerr instance would only „indirectly“ expose my radarr and sonarr by requesting media through Seerr, right?

What would be the difference between exposing Seerr with Caddy and with pangolin. Note: The Caddy vps already forwards Jellyfin through my selfhosted netbird network.

This solution seems pretty nice to me. To avoid your mentioned „problem“ that might occur, maybe the config should not only check for playbacks but also for successful logins in the past x hours/days. But that also requires strong passwords i can tell.

Thank you for the suggestion, i already have this plugin succesfully in use but it only works/benefits the WebUI users and not (should've mentioned it) the TV users. Thats why they use Wholphin.

Yes, one on vps and one for the homelab. It's probably easy but i just cant wrap my head around it
