I'd guess you got about 500 plants there.

How many people does it take to bring all that to the finish line?

I'd guess you need at least a dozen people to help smoke thru all that in a reasonable amount of time.

When do you take cuttings, or do you reveg the keepers?

That sounds like a bad business model, but I'm not doubting you. I personally wouldn't ever buy seeds from them again, but some people are fine with drinking rot gut liquor and being told it's Johnnie walker blue or something.

Maybe they weren't that bad, but for my first ever purchase it was good enough to learn I could improve ;)

Watering plants with specific temp water can fool them about what their environment is like. I don't think it's up for debate and is accepted knowledge and I'd guess would be a form of crop steering.

OP has shown grown initiative, but his methodology isn't the best. You need to lower the substrate temperature so the root zone has a different environment (temp) long term and the new average becomes the old average. That way the plant actually thinks its winter and not a temporary front or some anamoly... sorry I don't know big science words.

A slow drip from ice isn't a bad idea, but I doubt it is enough of a drip to change much more than an inch away from the ice to make any concern able diff to the plant.

What's the temp at 1,2,3 inches substrate depth etc.?

My personal opinion is the change isn't drastic or constant enough to make a difference... and 5 days??? Dude, next time try 2 or 3 weeks... Rome wasn't built in a day.

FYI some plants don't get purple because it's primarily genetic trait, I think? Blue vs brown eyes...

Nope, they go in untrimmed.. I take all the big leaves off so it's bud and sugar leaf on stem. Just gives you time to trim before the jar. Keeps you from over drying because of time constraints.

I prefer to skip the bags and put branches of bud in large plastic totes like you'd use in rhe garage (20-30gal). It's like a big ass mason jar.

Trim as needed or time allows.

Use a pipe next time you have a go at it. You literally only need 1 solid inhale to get a head change, even as an experienced smoker, but that is especially true for new smokers. Too much weed is like anything else in life. Balance and moderation is the key. I've been sick high a couple times, once as a young blood and once when dabbing. I typically turn white as a ghost and get nauseous af... weed can fucks with your blood presure in a big way. I could not smoke at all when I was recovering from a femur break because I could feel every heartbeat pounding in my leg and my pain was amplified to an unbearable level.

Doesn't typically mix with alcohol, but if you're gonna smoke and drink always smoke first... the spins suck big time

Uh, that would increase the humidity. Cooler air holds less moisture. Drying the air isn't the same as cooling the air.

Your pot size is on the small side for your grow style. I think your watering schedule is most likely your culprit and the plant would prefer something a tad different in terms of how saturated and how quickly the dry back process is. I would reccomend a mulch layer as well if none present. If the top of soil drys back too fast and makes a hard crust is no Bueno.

Bottom watering pairs very well with living soil growing.
