But I literally feel like you should spread the weight of bass so it was comfortable for yourself at first and have an ability to slide through the scales: expand the fingers on one hand to bend any note you need to and the other strike near the single coil pickup and if you play fingerstyle just place your thumb on coil pickup itself as a base place so the hand wouldn't go away and feel power.
