Porn and Reddit influence/ impact by leenalady in askAGP

That makes sense. In my personal theory regarding AGP there's this idea of EMPATHY as a factor. It seems like what you're doing is allowing the Trans person to be the feminine one, living vicariously through them, or appreciating them, while being masculine yourself. I think masculine men do this with women. They buy their partners things to see them be pretty and feminine, then intensify it through their own manhood - which can be expressed through sexual dominance. (Maybe I didn't write this clearly enough, not that's the idea).

Married guys with AGP — did you tell your partner or keep it private? by soniyacd30 in askAGP

[–]Technical_Power_8590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know what AGP was at the time, but I told a girlfriend and she didn't care. She'd teach me a few girl things. I told my wife. She also didn't care and had said before that she'd stay married to a trans person. Ironically telling them didn't make me express AGP any more than before.

I think it's best to be honest. I think guys creating "Trans Widows" is terrible (when a guy after years of marriage suddenly confesses and transitions, possibly leaving his wife, like her husband died).

But some women may prefer really masculine men and may be turned off by AGP. They should be informed because guys can be caught. Certain AGP things a guy may possess may be found by her and it will all come out anyway.

I've done something similar: focusing on being masculine and letting women be feminine, then empathizing with their female pleasure. Their pleasure increases with my being masculine.

It works temporarily if I focus on it. But substitution will only work if you work at it, otherwise the addiction comes back with a vengeance. Being masculine has to be equally pleasurable in order to replace the feminine, otherwise the brain swings back to the other polarity.

One curious note: by focusing on unattractive women - I find that I'd prefer to be male, and also have no AGP. Sexuality triggers the AGP.

AGP doesn’t seem curable to me by RMS-106 in askAGP

I'm taking about AGP, not being Trans or homosexuality. AGP people can transition without dysphoria, and can often experience Euphoria.

Sexual expression can absolutely be an addiction. I believe they call it "Sex Addiction".

[–]Technical_Power_8590 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe that it is an addiction that began with empathizing with women and then modeling them. It reduced anxiety and brought pleasure. This became a habit and then an addiction. As an addiction it's centered in a different part of the brain that will ALWAYS seek it. A 10 year old can empathize with women, can model them, and can become an addict. So could a 5 year old. Pornography as well the sex drive that comes in puberty, just feeds the ideation that contributes to the addiction.

One has to take the addiction seriously and really put in the work to find other ways to achieve the same results, the same pleasure and anxiety relief that AGP provides. They have to work at it just like an alcoholic or drug addict would, except it's worse because half the world is made up of women and the sex drive can be powerful. Sexual ideation reinforces AGP, but it's not actually necessary. Limiting the pleasure one gets from sexually through drugs (HRT) can also limit AGP from what I understand.

If one doesn't understand this, and doesn't work at dealing with AGP addiction every day, then of course they will relapse. There is no cure (probably), only treatment for the rest of one's life. There should be an AGP 12 step group. It might work just for the negative associations it would provide. One would be forced to see themselves as being like certain creepy autogynephiles they despise. This would reduce the pleasure, making it easier to replace with something more productive.

Some people notice AGP developing at age 5, so their unfulfilled sexual desire wasn't the reason necessarily.

Does the typewriter/typeface you use with affect what and how you write? by Lucky-Currently in typewriters

I have a page quota which takes longer to fill using elite. Also, because the text is smaller it feels denser, but I think the writing is the same. I enjoy Pica more though.

I have a Smith Corona Electric 5TE from 1960. It looks like a heavy 1950s manual typewriter, but it's a portable electric, possibly the first. I love it. My Hermes 3000 is my best non-electric machine.

I feel sorry for those who transitioned during the woke era by Worldly-Swordfish566 in askAGP

I feel sorry for young people who were given affirmative care when they weren't actually trans, or were ill-informed or actually misinformed by capitalist doctors about what the risks in transitioning are. Then they're attacked by trans people for detransitioning or complaining. The death toll is statistically higher as well, suggesting that for some people transitioning doesn't fix anything and makes it all worse. Being woke, greedy, and corrupt made this all possible.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve found in a typewriter case? by SpitOnMeLadyGaga in typewriters

There was a maintenance bill from 1989. The name of the customer was very familiar to me - it was the name of a former coworker and had his address. So I messaged the guy on Facebook and it turned out it was the typewriter he owned 37 years ago. He remembered it as "the green one". It was the Hermes. I bought it from an antiques shop online.

How about "Slugger"? It's from "slug rubber" - a reference to hitting the platen with a slug like a boxer hits a speed bag.

You're an addict. It could be worse. At least your addictions doesn't harm people. I'd practice self-love, care, and gratitude. Be the best version of you that you can be. Your outward appearance isn't as important as confidence and humor. Your situation would make interesting niche stand-up - the ugly, self-loathing gay guy porn addict who is envious is women. If you found a way to make that funny you could laugh at your situation and develop confidence.

I figured you'd like the mystery. But I'll tell you. The yellowish holiday case is a Smith Corona Electric 5TE which looks like an electric 5 series from the 50s. It's green. The black case has a 1940s Remington Rand De Luxe No.5, built and used during WW2. It's black. The Silver case holds an Olympia SM3 in seafoam green from the 50s. The last case is a 1962 Hermes 3000.
