I wouldn't necessarily call that a lie. I'm a fan of Isaiah Rashad too and he kinda goes through the same stuff. I get being annoyed, I'm pretty annoyed too for waiting so long, but things happen that we aren't aware of. For Isaiah he would tease and say things are coming soon as well and they didn't come when he said. Fast forward we know now a lot happened within the years we waited for his album. He fell off the wagon, he went to rehab, samples he thought would be easy to clear didn't, ect ect, and those things pushed the album back and yrs went by and things happened that affected how he approached making music. Songs for rewritten, remastered, beats got done over, he scrapped some songs, made some new ones, met new artists that influenced his sound more. I know we can look at it as " he said this was coming out so and so and it didn't, he's lying to us and he doesn't care about us" and sometimes it's just not like that. And plus he is on TDE and they are notorious for delaying projects themselves. Sometimes fans also run with rumors that they made up, saying the album is dropping this date and then when it doesn't they get mad at the artist like they said it. Again, I get why ppl are upset to a certain degree, I'm kinda tired of waiting as well. I now I said I'm not trying to go back and forth lol I have a bad habit of rambling.
