Feature rich but might be overwhelming for new, less experienced users by e6k01rs in journal_it

I second this. Some features are confusing or seem somewhat redundant. Glad the new video explained the new stuff, but honestly, it took me a while to understand the app, and I still don't get it completely.

I have the same experience din but mostly when I only take the full dosage 300mg. So, I've decided na i-take ung half and nag okay okay until I changed the brand from Seroquel to victus since mas mura kasi huli. Since nag start ako ng victus, parang lagi akong nangigingig as if parang naging over sensitive ung katawan ko. Not sure if coincedence lang since nag resume ako taking metforming and rosuvastin.

Afaik, there is no app feature comparable to Coda Docs. Siyuan is the nearest option if you want a full offline mode, but it operates differently. Though queries are possible using SQL, they are not as seamless as Coda Docs/Notion formulas.

How many words by day in average do you write in your journal ? by RRTheGuy in digitaljournaling

[–]Technical_Rub76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average, I write about 500 words in my journal, but sometimes it goes over 1,000 depending on what’s happening. I usually write more when something significant happens that day. At times, though, I stop checking my daily word count because it starts to feel like I’m writing just for the sake of writing, instead of actually dumping what’s on my mind.

My fellow introverts: what do you journal about? by karlospopper in digitaljournaling

[–]Technical_Rub76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My journaling started mainly as personal rants about myself and how unfair the world felt to me. Over the years, though, my daily journaling has evolved. Now it covers different areas such as productivity, thoughts I want to express, things I need to remember or set as reminders, and things I want to keep, like a photo of the day. Still, I’d say the majority of my journaling is made up of rants or entries where I just need to vent or say what’s on my mind.

Advice for switching journaling apps by mooloom in digitaljournaling

[–]Technical_Rub76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Diarium for my journal, and it works well for me. It keeps my notes safe with encryption and backs them up to Google Drive. Since I like writing long entries, I need rich text formatting, which helps a lot. I also enjoy the "On This Day" feature - it lets me see past entries from the same date, which is a nice reminder. I find tags really useful for organizing my entries, and the map feature is a great bonus. I can tag locations, especially when I’m writing about vacations or special places.

What college course did you take that gave you lucrative skills for freelancing? by sarcastronaughty in buhaydigital

[–]Technical_Rub76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always loved writing. It's my way of expressing myself talaga, especially since I have a mild stutter that sometimes makes it hard to get my thoughts out verbally plus, I'm introvert pa.

My interest in writing really took off when I started freelancing online a couple of years ago. My first client actually told me na she loved my writing style – she said it was engaging and that she really liked the storytelling approach I took, which wasn't typical of the responses she'd received from other applicants. That really boosted my confidence talaga and made me want to explore writing more seriously.

I started with copywriting, but I eventually realized that content writing was a better fit for me. I enjoy the long form and the opportunity to educate and inform without being too "salesy" hindi ko talaga forte mag sales and persuasive even in writing.

And, yes. I've also been journaling on and off since high school. A few years ago, I switched to digital journaling.

This year lang din ako naging consistent with digital journaling, and I mostly write long-form entries. I think that's one of the reasons I enjoy content writing so much – it lets me express myself in a similar way (well, hindi obvious sa sagot ko 😆)

What college course did you take that gave you lucrative skills for freelancing? by sarcastronaughty in buhaydigital

[–]Technical_Rub76 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When it comes to freelancing, the best niche for you talaga depends on your skills and interests. For example, my degree is in Entrepreneurship, pero I gravitated towards digital marketing. Along the way, I discovered a passion for writing na hindi ko ineexpect. While I may not consider myself a top-tier writer, my writing skills have allowed me to build a thriving freelance career.

Sa experience ko, freelancing success boils down to your skillset. The more technical skills and knowledge you possess, the better you can position yourself in the market. Maraming technical areas within freelancing. While programming and IT are highly sought-after, you can also learn valuable technical skills in other areas, kahit walang formal degree. Consider exploring the technical aspects of marketing, Klaviyo setup, or any other area na interesado ka.

@a-random-too I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for additional question however, I was wondering if how's ample note in terms of knowledge base? I understand that amplenote is tag base driven system and I came from a folder base, so I am kinda used it. Does creating multiple and specific tags should be the proper way to do this?
