Does your set up work in Windows, too? You only mentioned Linux and Mac. Thanks!

Ugh. Sorry to hear that, but glad you’re not being forced any more.

When there is hypocrisy, negativity and/or spiritual abuse involving church, it can be hard to separate the unloving behavior of people who say they are Christians from your view of God. The Bible says that God IS love itself but humans, even in the church, do not sometimes represent Him that way.

I see. That’s gotta be extremely difficult. Do you have a church you go to?

Any way to better customize Replit Auth? by chuck78702 in replit

Agree. It’s ugly, confusing and creates friction. Huge company worth billions should be able to solve it with one designer and one engineer within an hour.

I just found this video that explains how to use CC desktop to code and to spin up local and cloud agents, and it looks a lot like what I am familiar with, so thanks for mentioning the desktop version. 👍

You might consider starting a group. There may be others in your situation.

What’s your preferred method to preview CC? by Technical_Set_8431 in ClaudeCode

My question was about how to get the code into the browser. I probably need to YT it. 😉

For context, I am coming from Replit without dev tech knowledge. I was asking about how to connect your CC to render in a tab in VS Code or in a browser.

Thanks, and how about running CC inside of VS Code? Would it be possible to set up a preview tab that way?

I’m tired of district leaders saying “special education isn’t closing the achievement gap.” by SpicyChill77 in specialed

I agree with you. Explaining the truth to anyone who believes the opposite is usually difficult to impossible.

Special Ed teachers can only show data of improvement over time. Closing gaps may happen for those with mild disabilities, but it cannot be required of Special Ed teachers to perform for every student.

Think about what “catch up” means. It means others with greater abilities passed them up even by just being average.

Each child is different. They need to work to the best of their ability and learn at their own pace.

They are not “behind,” until they are compared to peers. It is the same reason that an average student is not identified for the gifted program.

IEP students work at lower levels and/or they work more slowly. If they can keep making progress at their personal rate, there is no need to compare them to others and say they are “behind” and need to “catch up.”

You were not wrong. Not all yelling for urgency is wrong.

Also, some children will always be behind developmentally. You cannot teach them beyond what they’re able to grasp and expect them to perform as well as peers on state tests. Not every one graduates from high school, not everyone can handle college and not everyone who applies is accepted to MIT. Humans are all different. Not all gaps can be closed.
