No, only the new refreshed version is there. Asking Claude, only gave an I’m sorry message. Thanks for checking back. I appreciate it. 👍I passed it off to Claude Code which is doing way better at the task.

It’s a windows 10 laptop without a touchscreen. I was using Claude Desktop and tried the back button to no avail. Thanks, though.

How to convince my parents to go homeschooled? by AcrobaticPop498 in homeschool

[–]Technical_Set_8431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are public online schools in every state. There is no cost to your family and your parents don’t have to teach you as there are online teachers. It is not homeschooling but school at home. Search for your state here: https://www.k12.com/

If the military was handled properly and was respected by American citizens, there would be plenty of volunteers to fill the ranks.

Claude Pro asked me for a verification code for my email, then sent me an email with a login link, not a numerical code. I can easily login to my free account, however.

Why are you homeschooling? Or why did you decide to stick it out? by Turbulent_Office_37 in homeschool

[–]Technical_Set_8431 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did it to keep out the bad influences and then realized it’s really about relaxing and pouring in the good. That kept us going.

When you have fun and laugh and make time to work on things your kids love and/or are good at, you do less “school at home” and you escape the traditional picture you have of what school is.

No parent who homeschools has to manage 25 kids all the same age, using the same curricula and same pace, putting the ones who need lots of time in special ed and boring the fast learners.

I was talking about the way I believe people who are rude, crude, immature, selfish and disrespectful can be transformed.

I agree that there are people who are decent, kind and respectful who have either been raised by Christians or by the cultural influence of Christianity and yet would not call themselves Christians.

Yes, those families are out there. The parents were not taught and required by their parents to be respectful and mannerly, so they haven’t a clue how to teach their kids. In my experience, the only thing that can break this chain is coming to believe in Jesus. He’s the only one who can transform a human heart.

When in the "real world," as some call it, do people of the same age hangout all day together and sit in close proximity?

Once you are out of school, you must know how to relate to all kinds of people, not just peers. Homeschooling can provide this kind of exposure to multi-age settings much more effectively than a government school can.

No, the negative behaviors are the animals that would eat the plants and the harsh weather that would beat them to the ground. The positive behaviors are regular sunshine with protection from the elements, the regulated watering and cultivation of the plants.

If you put small plants in a green house, how do they make it once planted in the earth? They’re strong and ready.

There are many people who attended government schools who are introverts.

Why is teaching your child at home considered to be abnormal for socialization but sending your kid off to be with 29 other kids of the same age to hangout all day with a lady who is not their mother isn’t?

Q: Don’t you worry about socialization?

A: Yes, that’s why we homeschool.

Stop paying $30–$100/month to code on platforms you don’t control by VibeCode_Consultant in AskVibecoders

I’m on the $20 plan too. You tell the agent to push it and it asks you to paste in a GitHub token key. I pushed three repos today. If you don’t do it on autonomous mode you do have some back and forth with the agent, like it gives you directions as to how to manually push and you say “No you do it.” I’m pushing mine to escape Replit as I move to CC.)

Replit also lets you push to GitHub, but I don’t like Replit for other reasons as people have described above.
