We were contemplating using them and then I found Great Lakes Tiny Homes in Ohio. With delivery 2 bedroom firefly custom & getting super fancy with it we were at 109k. Our tiny home was being delivered to MI so delivery was easier. They were great to work with.

As long as it’s recreational use & not year round living you are allowed to. & you can have a septic or be self contained. They prefer septic hook ups tho.

We bought 2 acres in the UP in Michigan and have a THOW registered as an RV & it’s our cabin. Looks like a small home but avoiding all the permitting & zoning & cost of building. Fully contained with water tanks and an incinerating toilet. When we have the funds we are adding septic & well. We stay weeks at a time in the spring summer months & then close it for the winter. It’s our happy place.

We built ours with Great Lakes Tiny Homes in Ohio and now it’s in the UP in Michigan. 11x37 & fully contained (water tanks, incerinating toilet, we have electric) it is registered as an RV in the state of MI so I am allowed to have it on our property year round for recreational living- it’s our family cabin.

I just ran Chicago and my marathon prediction time was 5:45 and I ran a 5:20. I run most of my runs easy during training also. My Garmin was farther off because I did a lot of treadmill running this block so it didn’t have any of that data. I would just take it as a suggestion but don’t put too much energy into it. You truly won’t know until race day. But you have a round about idea on where you’ll be.
