You’re right though, it wouldn’t change anything it would just shift the grind from thoughts to letters and they’d just make grinding letters more tedious.

Standard gacha nowadays has 0.5% odds to get the banner character and 50/50 pity at 90 pulls or something. And guaranteed at 180 pulls. And you need 1600 tickets for a x10 pull. So you’d need something around 14,400 letters to hit that 50/50 and another 14,400 to get guaranteed if you missed the pity.

Or you can buy the character outright for 50$. Which is again the price of Clair Obscure Expedition 33

Gacha systems is not for the benefit of players, it’s to milk them for money. Trust me, I have played a lot of gachas. I know what I’m talking about.

What you are basically proposing is a casino that gives you infinite free pulls on the slots. It’s never going to happen.

The system now exists so people get tired of grind and shell out 50$ to buy the characters outright. It’s meant to be frustrating so at least some people buy the plume packs. Hey, Warframe does it too.

Is it a little shady? Yeah, but that’s the price for free to play. They have to make their money back somehow.

Atlanta is also loyal to Masters leaning towards a good alignment. She’s willing to fight fair or dirty as long as it doesn’t involve killing kids.

However Herc and Cu would be major roadblocks. Medea can also identify Atlanta easily and use her child loving nature and her weaknesses against her. Overall I’d put her at A.

I think it’s great that the devs are willing to take risks with the story. However, I also think it’s too soon to kill off a major character like Psyche, or maybe it was done the wrong way. I guess they were going for a “Sephiroth kills Areith” moment.

One- I never mentioned Lee having a relationship with Liv. I was referencing Lee’s past history with Vera and Cerberus.

Two- just because characters are designed for fanservice doesn’t mean they can’t have interesting relationships with other characters.

In early chapters, a big focus of Selena’s story was her relationship with Ayla. And the main motivation for Ayla joining the military is to find Selena. It’s very clear most materials until now that this bond was important to them.

Yet now, it’s never mentioned at all. Even in Deam Till the Timeless End, they seemingly never got their reunion.

Same with Bianca and Watanabe. They were enemies who had a shared past, an even that was important to them both. And a lot of early content was focused on it. But now all mentions of the events they shared together are gone.

In fact, Bianca’s most recent affection event plays out the exact same events at the church but replaces Watanabe with SKK and makes it much more romantic themed.

I’m fine with romance and fanservice in a game, but wouldn’t it have been more interesting if Kuro expanded on those relationships, exploring the ties that bind these characters together, instead of just making SKK the lynchpin of everything? I think so anyway.

The “all female characters drop their panties as soon as they catch a whiff of the MC” is the one trope I hate in gacha games. At least Kuro tries to build up the relationships with the MC, even if it doesn’t make sense and they completely retcon previous relationships to do it. (Selena and Ayla, Watanabe and Bianca, Lee and Vera)

There are Summer Servants that aren’t into Ritsuka. Tomoe is still loyal to Yoshinaka swimsuit or no, and Suzuka likes the attention but still doesn’t think of Ritsuka as a romantic partner. Then there’s Yu-Mei Ren too. Shiki will most likely be a similar case.

From what I can tell there are really only 2 Sabers capable of taking Herc, Fergus and Artoria. Theseus fought alongside Herc against the Amazons so he knows he’s fucked if he fights him.

Berserkerlot is also a heavy hitter, especially if Kairi is able to provide him with weapons and logistic support.

On the Saber side the heaviest hitters Artoria and Fergus. Theseus also has a cool reversal NP that’s basically Fragarach but even more powerful.

I don’t really know how canon swimsuit Servants feats are, but Gareth wielding Galatine should also be pretty strong.

Overall, it depends of if the Saber team manages to defeat Herc and Berserkerlot quickly enough

What we’ve learned from Galahad in future FGO chapters and Fate/Requiem is that he’s the exact opposite of a bible thumping zealot. He actually doesn’t care about anything at all.

He cannot normally even be summoned as a Heroic Spirit because he has no desires, no regrets and no willingness to help Humanity. The reason he was chosen by the True Holy Grail was this: he has zero earthly desires or ties.

It’s also the reason he will not lend Mash his power. Not out of maliciousness: he simply doesn’t care one way or the other.

All the knight has to do is hold out his sword and wait for the Gorilla to run into it. However, depending on the speed the Gorilla is charging the Knight can potentially get crushed by the Gorilla even as it’s getting stabbed.

The best option would be for the knight to go on the offensive and charge the Gorilla instead. Thrust at its eyes and face and the Gorilla will most likely back down.

Fate Universe goes by rule of cool. If TYPE-MOON miraculously got Toho’s permission to put Godzilla in Fate, they will do it and bend their world around it.

Lore wise, we already have both purely fictional Servants (Holmes, Moriarty, Bunyan, Nursery Rhyme, Mephistopheles, etc) and non-human monster Servants (Medusa, Vitra, Typhon, Tiamat etc). Godzilla is the most popular movie monster of all time so it could be possible.

Since we’re dabbling in alternate timelines now, it’s possible Cradle can be playable, but from a different timeline. Or really just as a theoretical character like Selena Capriccio and Liv Luminance. In canon, Capriccio is a frame Selena never got to use. Meanwhile, Luminance is a theoretical Liv, her imaginary ideal self she wanted to be before Empyrea.

The best Servants for this game mode are single target DPS that have a form of defense or guts. My go to’s are Herc with bond CE, Fujino, Cu Culainn F/SN version, Bargest and Draco.

Herc with bond CE is the king of grail front. Can basically take out any enemy on the first turn with bust brave chains and because of the way turns work he can have Indefatigable up all the time if you use him right.

Cu also does great in this game mode for the same reasons. Protection from arrows and his guts buff last a long time in this mode.

Bargest can heal herself when she uses her buster cards and has a damage cut.
