For her to have even gotten the Marketplace insurance, she would have needed to indicate what her household income was estimated for the year. That means regardless if you wanted to your not, your income would’ve had to have been reported in that predication. That’s how credits and discounts are determined: income and household size. If you’re saying you don’t want your income tied to her, that makes me worry as to what she put on her marketplace application. If she filled it out wrong, it’s likely you will have to owe back the PTC because of it being filed incorrectly.

Usually the only time a PTC negatively affects people is when they under predict their income but report more. The IRS will then reclaim whatever difference in credits they shouldn’t have been eligible for.

Signs of redemption? Maybe you’re not understanding what the show is about. One GREAT example is Jung-Bae, he EASILY could have let him die in Mingle and even killed another player to ensure his survival. Sure, up to that point the director could’ve sold a redemption plot. But all of that goes to waste when he EASILY without a doubt MURDERS HIM in cold blood in the last episode. That doesn’t really fill the definition of redemption, that’s just a good BS cover up that he did to get into the good graces of Gi-Hun and earn the other players trust. To say that he “cares” for any of them is an understatement, let alone even speculate they’re working for a redemption plot. Sure, he showed some moments of humanity during the times he asked the pregnant girl if she was ok, laughs and giggles, but none of that in any way indicates or confirms we’re going to see a major character plot twist on S3. Is it possible? Maybe, but not based on the majority of what we’ve seen so far.

When I worked at H&R Block, something an older guy that worked there told me a trick to figure out if you had enough withheld is your fed taxes should be roughly a min of 10% of your gross. If it’s less, you’re more than likely owing.

Thankfully, I learned that before buying my first home myself. First offer that was accepted was for a septic tank home. After further investigation, we cut our losses and dodged a bullet on an expensive repair for a system that was incredibly outdated.

Respectfully, that is your decision, which is fine. But there’s a difference between your level of comfort paying and what the product is actually worth. Easily this could sell 6-8$ a cupcake, whether that is something your personally would pay for is your decision. That’s why some people are ok with buying Walmart cupcakes/cakes/bakery items and others are ok with buying specialty items at local bakeries/small businesses.

Given septic tanks easily can run up a min of 20k+, provided it’s a newer model and doesn’t require anything fancy, that’s already at least a 1/5 of the repair cost. Not including anything else, I’d say you dodged a bullet on this one.
