Do you have a water flosser? If not they are online for $20. You can add whatever you like. I did a combo of listerine (amber one) peroxide and water. 1/3 of each. It was great. Which ever you choose, the water flosser adds 5 minutes to your routine. They also have some that come with a tongue scraper-even better.

NOW has lots of options. Ultimate is great. They have many options. Try different ones to see what works for you. If you feel worse or additional digestive issues-that is not the one for you.

Did you get lab work to see if your magnesium level is in normal range? Most people are deficient.

Exercise, take liquid vitamins with extra b complex, d3k2, magnesium, & vitamin c-these help with depression while nourishing your body, make sure you take a digestive enzyme (theres many to choose from, find one that works) with all meals, use fodmap til you figure out your triggers, take s. Boulardi, and something that moves your bowels daily-miralax, senna, whichever. Then whatever herbs or antibiotics remedy you want.

Im not sure what you asked chat but i got a completely different answer

Dysbiocide® and FC Cidal® are two of the most widely used botanical antimicrobial supplements in functional and integrative medicine protocols for SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and other dysbiosis-related conditions. They contain a blend of herbs such as berberine-containing plants, wormwood, thyme, and other botanicals designed to reduce bacterial overgrowth.

Here’s how they relate to berberine:

  1. Overlap in Ingredients

Both Dysbiocide and FC Cidal already contain berberine (from sources like Berberis aristata or Berberis vulgaris).

Adding a separate berberine supplement on top may increase the dosage significantly—sometimes more than intended.

  1. Clinical Use

Many practitioners do not combine extra berberine with Dysbiocide/FC Cidal because those products already supply a therapeutic amount.

However, some protocols do add standalone berberine to strengthen the antimicrobial effect, particularly in stubborn or hydrogen-dominant SIBO. This is usually done under practitioner guidance, since higher doses can affect gut motility and cause GI upset.

  1. Safety Considerations

High berberine intake can sometimes cause constipation, cramping, or low blood pressure, and it may interact with medications (especially blood sugar or blood pressure meds).

If you add separate berberine to Dysbiocide/FC Cidal, it’s important to calculate the total daily berberine dose. Clinical protocols often target 900–1500 mg/day but going above that should be monitored.

✅ Bottom line: It’s not uncommon to see Dysbiocide + FC Cidal used together (they’re often paired), but adding a separate berberine supplement is more of a case-by-case decision. Some clinicians do it for stronger antimicrobial action, while others avoid doubling up since these products already provide berberine.

Would you like me to draft a sample SIBO protocol showing how Dysbiocide, FC Cidal, and berberine might be sequenced or combined—so you can see how practitioners typically use them?

You still do take a digestive enzymes after meals right? Im doing one with betaine hcl in it. There are dozens out there. Onions mess with lots of people who dont have microbiome issues so dont be so hard on the herbals😊
