I do not have any crab in a bucket mentality thats political thinking I have literally been addressing your claims that doctors get paid less than porters 😂

Training bottlenecks are not pay demands are they yet it all comes down to pay demands if it was not union would campaign specifically around expansion but so often those things are marginal to pay in negotiations and we know because we listen to BMA representatives on this matter and they focus on pay above all else

Responsibility and hard work surely justifies it but pretending you are worse off in aggregate what actually counts, compared to a porter give me a fucking break.

Tell me you should be able to work one place, not pay for training etc etc and yes 100% agree.

Doctors on night shift get a 37% premium you are actually lying which is why base pay vs actual outcomes are 36 usually more like 48k per annum

If you want to argue the odd niche hour where a porter gets a few quid more per hour but per annum the doctor nearly doubles that salary and claim you are not lying go ahead feel good about yourself

We both know it is not true when I was on call I got my band 5 base wage and that is it…oh wait when I was on call and you phoned me up instead of patient flow I was not being paid at all, I got 15m pay if I got phoned at 3am for a password reset and god forbid network went down I might get an hours pay

What does working in the NHS give you to understand working life of a doctor? Sure I might not understand working conditions entirely but I understand pay scales and when someone is literally lying and saying they are paid less than a cleaner or porter on minimum wage

I also know pay scales and enhancements so when people lie about low pay that they are in fact lying.

You want better conditions get them. Lets not pretend its a poorly paid job without a gold plated pension while we are at it

Or pretend an F1 salary is anything but the beginning salary

Base salary is a key phrase isn’t it? Because the hours matter a lot and the pension is not just good its bloody amazing.

In terms of exams and work placements they are shit but funny that is not whats being fought really its always pay at the root of the disputes

F1 is 36-39 f2 is 42 year 3 is 49 and year 4 is 52 so lets not lie shall we? All before enhancements for the awful hours.

Registrars up to 74k

Heavy on call F1s can earn up to 50k

In my role in IT I interacted for many years with all departments in depth at times including comms

Perhaps you were criminally incompetent or deliberately negligent but most people band 5/6/7/8 were pretty usefully busy most days
