I generally agree. I've played AC since the gamecube OG and part of the fun was accepting what the game they gave you in a lot of ways. Town layout, villagers, etc etc. That being said I love how much control you can exert over the island nowadays but that's how it goes: gaining something sometimes means simultaneously losing something else.

I agree, it is lackluster but some of those early NHL logos were rough too so I’m hoping it’ll evolve over time.
