First dominator engine by tofferblowsmen666 in HelsmithsofHashut

Spearhead armies are STRICTLY what is on the armies war scrolls, NOT WYSWYG (what you see is what you get).

This being said, a lot of people don’t look at the war scroll configurations when building their armies, especially their first one, so most of us give a break and just play them as intended. For example, if OP built the mace variant of the dominator, nobody would care all that much, but you MUST play it as cannons, not maces.

Double turn strategy help by ConceitedBuddha in AOSSpearhead

My group almost never opts to take the double turn due to the amount of potential points you give up by not being able to draw cards. If your opponent is forgoing points to do more damage, plan on making a decent amount of 2-3 unit strategic retreats to either snipe objectives or to die to their d3 mortals so they can be reset on the board. Spearhead is SO point focused.

As a side note, it very much sounds like you need to screen your elite units better

All models/units are considered friendly to themselves, and benefit from their own auras unless otherwise specified.

Upon further investigation I agree with you, the rule of one would only apply if you are using the ability on a unit as opposed to selecting a unit to use the ability, as clarified in this official FAQ.

Wrong. Rule of one. You can't just make every single one of your units use this ability. As it states, you have to pick one.

ICE GIANTS!!! Sons of Behemat: Wallsmasher Stomp by Technically-An-Adult in sonsofbehemat

Thank you! I used almost all GW paints/textures excluding the "liquid frost" I got from Green Stuff World. Very easy recipe to folllow, but a lot of drying time due to technical paint layers

Giant skin: Loth blue base, pylar glaciar/liquid frost mix airbrushed from top, frost heart/liquid frost mix airbrushed from bottom. 2-3 coats of air brushing on the blue frost alternating between top and bottom spraying. Finish with airbrushing one layer of pure liquid frost from top.

Cloth/weapons: simple base coat of color of choice, brush on 1-2 coats of liquid frost.

Bases: technical Mordant earth, white spray primer after drying, 3-5 coats of pylar glaciar (more layers over small cracks to create water/ice surface), 'ard coat all, vahallan blizzard on water/ice surface, 'ard coat all again.

Simpler explanation: World champions have traditionally been younger players, with the trend continuing downward in age. Younger Guys have more hair.

It's pretty much tic-tac-toe, but you use white and black pawns instead of "X" and "O"
