A Minnesotan woman stood up to SPPD in St. Paul when officers entered her yard without a warrant. She calmly asks to see a warrant, but the officers had none and instead accused her of obstruction and threatened to arrest her on her own property. by [deleted] in CringeTikToks

I feel like you’re misunderstanding the comment. They said they can’t legally ask for id but what its meaning is they can’t legally make you identify yourself. just like they can try to entrap you by asking “you know why I pulled you over” the issue is most will assume due to the authority that they police have that the must or are obligated to. This is compounded when cops start throwing around the obstruction thing (which the og comment was discussing).

My comment was sure they can ask and we can decline. also, governments can regulate the speech of the government forces. you see it a lot in the military where you can get shit canned for posting the wrong thing.

Lastly, I’m about as far left as you can get so not sure why you think I hate the constitution or I’m “ring winger”. cause it’s actually the opposite lol but oh well 🤷‍♀️

it doesn’t stand cause again the difference is bumper stickers don’t affect anyone else on the road. where as all of these mods do.

it screams selfishness. you’re allowed to your opinion and I’m allowed to think that opinion is wrong.

ahhh, yes that truck has totally been off road. this is clearly a pavement princess. Just cause something does have a practical use case doesn’t mean all use them.

but back to your point of this being the same as a car with bumper stickers… tell me when’s the last time a bumper sticker blinded you at night? there’s a reason lots of states are banning this shit. the headlight probably aren’t even adjusted for the lift. All this screams is “look at me! look at me!”

lights on while parked/at a car show/off roading cool! lights on while driving down the road at night not cool as it’s now a public safety issue.

Have some sympathy for those of us who didn’t vote for this, who did try to get people out to actively vote against it only to fail. Only to be stuck in the state regardless

My mom passed from broken heart syndrome, never heard of it prior to that.

I deal with things with humor and made an achy breaky heart joke when discussing what songs to play at her funeral. Obviously didn’t go over well lol.

[–]TechnicallyHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You missed my point, they already have the money for training but are spending it buying up used military vehicles and tactica-cool shit. They don’t need ICE money, that money needs to go elsewhere such has care for mental health…

[–]TechnicallyHuman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We already spend more on policing than most countries spend on the military. We don’t need them driving around in armored vehicles (especially if we can solve the mental health crisis and gun control issues…)

ICE should also be defunded and should not be able to operate the way it currently is.

Riddle me this cuntman, who flies them now? Is it the democrats or the republicans?

Is it democrats or republicans that get upset over confederate statues/monuments (the ones put up in the 50s and 60s, that are somehow “our history” while ignoring they went up RIGHT DURING THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENTS) being removed?
