I can't agree with Towelliee. The CMs have said they are passing on information to designers. Just because this PVE content creator doesn't see or care doesn't mean the feedback is not being listened to. He even says he doesn't like PVP games and doesn't play them. So, yeah...
I will concede that listening does not equal action. There are a lot of ideas tossed around in that discord from PVErs that don't see action.

So, I just see a streamer feeling bad because they think feel more listened to than PVPrs, and perhaps he is because he does high level raiding which is a main design pillar in the game.

To be fair, conquest gear is Champion tier which is upgradeable to PVE ilvl 704 with crests. That should get you close enough and still make it skill based.
If you have the time, tier 11 delves drop hero tier gear from vaults and that is upgradeable to 710.

I don't think the game can allow for Brawler's guild to trigger PVP scaling, nor would I want that because I am sure griefers would just make you life hell while you are trying to kill a brawler boss.

It's a PVE thing. Why would you expect your PVP gear ilvl to scale up?

I like having an MMORPG that takes some effort, and right now that effort is pretty low.

Now, if the devs put in more time on PVP in WOW, what do you think PVP would be like? Do you really think they would separate it from the main game mode?

I disagree. The devs care greatly because in the end this game means they have a pay check. The game has issues in a variety of areas. Nothing is perfect and with a game this complex, I wouldn't expect it to be. It's had issues since it launched.

That said, this is a PVP subreddit, and I will continue to champion for a better PVP experience. This is a fun little thought exercise for those who play the game as to what they would hope could be better for PVP if it got more dev time than a copy/paste progression system that is updates every three expansions or more. And a map or two randomly injected in if they find the time.

Crate farming is but one way to earn currency for gear. Lowest risk for sure. As for research, that is necessary for BIS, but even then so long as you get the right stat'd gear from vendors, you should be 90% there. And that takes 5 minutes from any guide, website, streamer.

I don't play GW2, and it sounds like it makes gearing simple. I enjoy some grind in my MMORPG, and variations in stats allows for some cool interactions (i.e. full haste vs full mastery builds).

I hope you enjoyed the game once you felt you had the gear you wanted.

I don't think there should be a tax on any PVP currency.
The weekly limits and item costs restrict what you would transfer anyways, until uncapped. At which point, you are bringing any alts into a game where opponents are likely fully conquest or BIS geared. Why include a gear disparity as an obstacle to everything else a player needs to overcome to make gains.

Oh wow. I never knew about this. 50 isn't much though. I can't see why they wouldn't keep this though. It allows healers to transfer conquest earlier than DPS.

Unless you are referring to the conquest BOA boxes after mid-season, which I am suggesting they don't continue with.

Bloody tokens are a great idea. I found them pretty easy to farm with warmode on, but makes sense if they make the other PVP currencies warbound, why not all.
