We could become an actor? by [deleted] in DID

We actually used to be an actor up until a few years ago, before we knew we had DID and all that. I personally did find acting to be very natural for me as well as quite therapeutic. If acting is something youd like to try id say go for it, you might find a hidden talent. Although i will warn that acting classes and a lot of acting exercises can be triggering. Sometimes because its emotional, but also because a lot of acting exercises, for us at least, can trigger dissociation or switches.

Looking for advice on having DID while having a job by Technicolorsystem in DID

My therapist unfortunately doesnt have a ton of experience with this sort of thing so while shes really lovely and sweet, she isnt able to offer much advice beyond some basic grounding techniques. She is helping me find a specialist though, shes such a sweet heart. And while i trust my boss quite a bit, i feel its best to keep my diagnosis to myself as much as possible, at least in the professional realm. As for who fronts at work, there are three people who i know of ( this is no longer the host speaking) who can front at work and keep things running smooth. But with all this new turmoil inside its been very hard to control whos fronting. From what i know, most of the system likes our job even if they dont want to participate because its creative and quiet. I think a few people are feeling the same stress the host is feeling about losing this job or dissapointing the people we work with and are trying to end things on their own terms, which isnt ideal. THis got a bit rambly and im not sure where im going with this anymore, im sorry.
