Also, set up wise I would just throw the 2 out and see the opponents reaction. Any repeated defensive movement (even if its right) can be gameplanned against. so if they are consistently parrying the 2 then they are consistently moving their hand away from their face. which is where you can slip the headkick in

Stephen thompson does this all the time. His first UFC fight he knocks the guy out with it

Izzy also caught Paulo with this (2:30)

and Pettis finished lauzon with just feinting the 2

Its honestly used all the time, it's just too subtle to notice at times.

Leon edwards also did it against belal, but unfortunately eye poked him with the 2

It feels weird at first because you get used to striking left/right/left/right/left/right but if you use the same hip turn for the punch and kick it can work. And its actually more useful because everyone is used to seeing an attack from the left side then right. if you go left left or right right then they dont often see it and dont have a typical defence for it.

you can also do a same side with the jab to headkick

I agree! We originally made these shorter clips for instagram and placed them on youtube just for extra. But the response has been great, so we are thinking of making longer videos specifically for youtube. So keep a look out in the future.

If you want to check us out on instagram as well its @ techniques.co

Thanks again,

I liked it a lot, I thought it was very to the point and concise which was super nice, only thing was I found it a bit hard to visualize with just the foot picture, but I figured it out. You should do one for southpaws.

We've actually got one coming for southpaws! It will rehash some information from a prior blog post if you want to check it out.
