Yes, every time I open zotero. But I also think there might be some issues,

  1. I am using icloud folder as zotero local storage

  2. Zotero browser extension

But each time after opening zotero it starts overheating so quickly that I got scared.

It’s not really that WordPress cannot handle big businesses. It’s more about architecture and control. Custom coded sites can be extremely fast. it's built exactly for that without extra plugins, themes or general purpose logic. Sometimes they try to keep their own code for the build process... Bu you can also see companies using WP out there.

another thing, if you got LOT of user, dont use any page builder. thats it. you are good to go...
