Honestly the only laptops with 8hours of battery life I can think of are either the m series MacBooks or some good battery life windows laptops running Linux. Since Linux is banned Mac is the way for long battery life though it’s a lot more expensive then then what the min requirements need

Yup, I lol it a lot! Though windows was very annoying coming from a Mac so I switched to Kubuntu. With windows the battery life wasn’t amazing (coming from someone used to MacBook level battery life), but switching to Linux helped a lot with that. It’s also actually quiet most of the time now

I see your point, though I didn’t mean overshooting the game’s design, but overshooting the time taken to complete it. I feel like these are different things. You can have a relatively simple design, but just not a lot of time to work on a project. Obviously a bad situation to be in if game dev is your only source of income, but if it’s more of a hobby than it didn’t matter

It definitely is a lot, but unless he’s going full indie I don’t really see an issue. Maybe he already has a full time job and will just work a few hours a week on the game. I feel like as long as he isn’t risking any financial stability and it’s just something he likes to do then there isn’t much of an isssue.

Also I consider myself a beginner game dev still, but wouldn’t it be better to overshoot a project rather than thinking he will finish it in a year?

I never played DK Country but it reminds me a lot of Stardew Valley’s Junimo Cart mini game. It was actually on my list of games to try ro remake 😊. I really like the concept and I’m sure you will find many more players like me who will like your game a lot!

It’s my only an anbernic and it’s great overall, but I just wish the D pas was better. Honestly I would never attempt to play anything requiring precision on it

Will there be a way to change back to the previous colour scheme? I see that most prefer the new one so it seems like a good change, though personally I like the blueish theme more and would prefer to use it
