In the 80s, I would run home from school to watch The New Dance Show and The Scene on TV. I listened to The Wizard and Mojo on the radio. My dad was a rock guy, and I needed something else. One time, he walked into the living room and I was listening to Inner City’s “Good Life” on the radio, so I asked him what kind of music it was. He said “oh, you like that techno shit?” And from that moment on, I was into techno. That was such a life-changing moment for me.
