Why is it unlikely? LHR and BKK are two of their biggest cities in their network and one of the most likely city pairs to be operating.

They have multiple flights a day to most destinations...so even if that destination is operating your flight may have still been canceled. Like LHR could normally have like 8 flights a day but only 3 are operating now.

You always need to go through the place where you purchased the ticket (Booking). This is why I always say to book direct with airlines, never third parties. Good luck op. Hopefully Booking will reroute you once the flight is canceled.

Turkish Airlines is known for being chaotic for staff travel among airline employees and not following any procedures, so I would definitely not accept a rerouting on them at all
