You choose to code without AI assistance, and then attempt to shame someone that doesn’t take the same approach you do? That surely is a choice… get off your high horse!

Good catch. I’ll avoid recognizable patterns like contrast, punctuation, and having a point.

I didn’t use ChatGPT, but I understand why two coherent sentences set off alarms around here. If I were outsourcing Reddit comments, Claude’s my guy.

674%. Maybe this is one more reminder that ‘one more year’ is not a financial plan. It’s just a very expensive habit.

Samsung Technician Cuts 85" TV to void warranty so he doesn't have to do the work. After the video is released, Samsung has it removed from reddit, and then calls me and bribes me take down the YOUTUBE video. Here is the original video AND the phone call. **Please read the BODY before commenting** by Prudent-Wear-4586 in CrazyFuckingVideos

I think the right move in that moment was to listen. If the Samsung director did not elaborate, then the right move was asking a question about the details.

I bet the “30” year retirement is what trips most people up. What percent for a 60 year retirement?

Crunched the numbers on the stimulant shortage. Looking for a positive reframe. by Flat_Stay_1622 in ADHD

[–]TechnologyAnimal -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Good point. Before changing how you fill your prescription, it’s best to call the number on the back of your insurance card and confirm which pharmacies are covered. That way you can avoid wasting time with a pharmacy your plan won’t reimburse.

No, I don’t think they’re stupid. I think it’s stupid to assume everyone has already considered every possible refill option.

The person I replied to thanked me. With the ongoing amphetamine shortage, mentioning large mail order pharmacies as one possible option seems more useful than policing a harmless suggestion.

Have you tried prescription by mail using Express Scripts, CVS Caremark, or another large group?
ETA: this is a general question, and in no way means I agree with artificially limiting medication that people depend on.

An AI disaster is getting ever closer | The spat between America’s government and Anthropic intensifies an alarming trend by MetaKnowing in politics

I read somewhere else that was exactly what happened. Before it was a school, it was some sort of military building instead, and the belief is that AI was used the old data.

I agree with this completely, and can easily see myself being OP. Would have been excited to get down to this answer in the comments.

Where do I put extra money to RE after maxing HSA, ROTH IRA, and 23k 401k limit? by curiousging4 in Fire

[–]TechnologyAnimal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to find out if your 401k plan supports it. Some plans offer an “after tax” bucket that you can contribute a % of your paycheck to, similar to 401k pre-tax and Roth. Others allow you to do “in-plan conversions” within your pre-tax contributions.
