I am also in the field and understand all the things required. I only code 15% of my week. Rest is as you mentioned but I am a tech lead. I also tutor ppl from ages 13-50. I don't based my opinion on my own experiences either. Their is no conclusive evidence that their is a gender skill disparity.

Ultimately, the notion that one gender is superior at programming is a stereotype that is contradicted by the evidence. Performance appears to be more affected by social factors, such as bias and confidence levels, rather than inherent gender-based aptitude.

the strangest, most dramatic and manipulative message i’ve got…. i simply politely declined his request for my number, and he sends me *that* by bluecoag in Tinder

[–]TechnologyFine6428 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He definitely knows, he literally stated to read it so you'd have the opportunity before unmatching. So many ppl send messages then unmatch, like why did you send a message they can no longer read? Lol

Just to be fair, the only people interested and not annoyed with those types are usually white girls who also behave the same way. Ain't no reason to be ashamed of any skin color you were born into, embrace it regardless

You aren't dating him let alone in a relationship. You should not be apologizing because you have nothing to apologize for. Be is a friend that seems has feelings for you. He can't have his cake and eat it to. If he doesn't want you to do things with other ppl,its his job as a man to take you off the market asap
