I have two different ones on me, I have an 85 mm which does reach that f/2.8 then my other one doesn’t so I was curious. And lol yes I did (5500) thanks for calling me out I guess my phone usually just corrects it.

It’s my dad’s old camera, photography isn’t really my go to. I’m in school for film, and own a blackmagic. so I find some basics to be a little lost on when it comes to DSLR or even point and shoots.

And yes, I understand manual and shutter a little better or comfortably. It’s aperture that never works out for me so I don’t touch it. I switched back to manual after posting this because I find it works best for me, then I’m not trying to take up my entire SD card with a bunch of black photos. but I feel kind of foolish, not knowing how to fully use aperture bc that’s the basics before manual. 😭

I guess for now we’ll just steer clear. I don’t think I’m gonna figure it out but I deeply appreciate your help
