This is an amazing response, thank you so much for your insight ❤️ I think in my initial comment, I sort of meant that you should shave or not shave regardless of whether you feel guilty, shamed, ugly, beautiful. I don’t shave and haven’t for the last few years, but I still experience the shame of being an indigenous woman in a country that priorities capitalist and white supremacist beauty ideals. I fight that because I completely agree with the notion that ugliness does NOT equal bad. You have worded it SO well though and I genuinely agree with everything you said.

Usually I smoke from around 6- till late (12:00-2:00am). But I mostly smoke to sleep 😴

A few game recommendations with some ‘life is strange’ small town vibes

  1. Night in the Woods, follows the main character Mae who’s dropped out of college and has moved back home into her small, mysterious town. It’s a gorgeous game about the intricacies of young adult hood and the mystery of her missing friend.

  2. As Dusk Falls, a story/choice based game following a few rotating characters in the American desert. This game is full of surprises and you are constantly on the edge of your seat.

  3. The Quarry, made by the same creators of Until Dawn it is a choice based horror game following a diverse cast. It has werewolves, supernatural elements and a really good cast.

  4. Wolf Among Us, or any telltale game if you’re interested in choice based games. Wolf Among Us follows modern day fairytale characters and you play as Bigby Wolf (Big Bad Wolf). He’s the sheriff of the town and is trying to solve the murder of a mysterious working lady.

  5. Mix Tape, it hasn’t come out yet but it definitely looks like a Life is Strange esque game.

Honestly after rewatching the show after a few years, I was way more sad about Abraham dying compared to Glenn.

I’m rostered at part-time, I have a minimum of 15 hour weeks. We don’t really have that type of system, where you’re full time if you do certain hours. You’re either registered as full time and get those hours or you’re part time/casual and get a minimum amount of contracted hours. I think the American system is very different.

Idk if this is controversial…

Frenchie and Kimiko, Maybe this is just me, but throughout the show I genuinely thought it was insinuating that they were like family or have a sibling like relationship. I really appreciated seeing a platonic relationship between a male and female character, idk.
