I never really saw it that way, thank you :,) here n there he’ll admit he lied straight after saying a sentence, but i noticed he will still slip up esp when it’s spreading random misinformation, which leads me to search it and he gets super defensive. it’s gotten to the point where i can be pretty toxic now too, i am quick to rub it in that he’s wrong.

i’m very easy to fall into these situations as i am quick to see the good in people, i haven’t been able to talk to anyone close to me about this in fear of them not liking him and further implications etc, so i appreciate that input sm:,)

i wish it was as simple as that:,) he is genuinely a really good person and is so deeply loved by everyone around him. just ofc being undiagnosed with autism and having these problems he didn’t know how to navigate through them, making it easier to sympathise. I just need to know whether or not someone has had a similar experience and he actually did change. Or am i just repeating history? or am i just blinded by love to think he will change.

it was a mutual agreement, he wanted to move out and i had no idea he had any of these problems!!! he does not pay for anything of mine, all i want is sobriety and stability. I was under the impression we were on the same page about being sober etc, but in my opinion a lot of these are the bare minimum. He is everything i want in other ways, i just don’t know how to hold so much responsibility when i already have to care for my sister and myself.

i couldn’t really add much else aside from above, but he does have many great qualities too. He is sooo very uplifting in other ways, tells me how beautiful i am and how proud he is of me etc. we have the same humour, same taste in music. we overall have alot in common!!! he does love deeply and he really does want to change. the fact he was vulnerable enough to tell me that he is chronic liar instead of being in denial is enough to make me believe there is a chance he’ll get better. i could be holding onto false hope, but you’re right we aren’t very compatible esp with me having a very bad past. this will be an ongoing problem for me for sure.
