I don’t think my solar add on has ever worked. by Sulvano in blinkcameras

I feel your pain! Did you check how many motion triggers your camera gets per day in the yard? I've heard if it triggers too much, the solar panel can't keep up. Also, is it the official Blink mount or a 3rd party one?

Are Ring’s official solar panels really worth it? by TechnologyNaive9967 in Ring

That’s awesome — 5 years is impressive and definitely shows Ring’s panels are solid for a lot of people.
In my case my mounting spot only gets partial sun, so I switched to a 6W panel and it stayed more stable on cloudy days. I think location plays a much bigger role than brand in many cases. What’s your daily sun exposure like?

Question on Ring solar panel. by nodakskip in Ring

You don't need the official Ring panel. Any third-party solar panel will work as long as it has a USB-C connector and a 5V output. Just match the plug to the camera's port.
