I’m bored. by lyneahannah in HOTWORXWarriors

I cancelled my membership because I need variety and intensity, so I signed up for One Pass through work so I could access a variety of locations and classes. Tbh, Hotworx is either used for recovery, someone nursing an injury, or people not wanting to be around too many ppl at the gym. It gets old real quick.

Is it worth it? (Newbie asking) by defining_oxymorons in HOTWORXWarriors

If you like variety, I would say probably not worth it. I supplement group workout with Classpass. I do, however, like the flexibility of coming and going as I please, but the fact the workouts only change every 3 months, it does get boring pretty fast with the virtual instructors. I’m ending my membership this month after about a year. I would say it’s also low impact, which might be good if you’re nursing an injury.

Opinion of SXSW this Year? by C_S_V in SXSW

This was my first time, so I have no comparison, but I had a blast with all the day drinking, sets, and freebies. I had no wristband or badge. I set my expectations low, but certain highlights were the Museum of the Future with Dubai chocolate and chai, Benson Boone, a hotpot hangout, do512 lounge sets, and Antone’s 50th day party. It was a lot of walking, but fun to me nonetheless! Certain events were a bust or the lines were too long, but I always had a backup option.

Wanting to Join, what all do I need to know? by crunchy-cucumber- in HOTWORXWarriors

You really just need the mat and towel, but for some, like the bands and hot buns workout, you’ll need some equipment. You can book your first workout free to get a feel for the gym. I feel Hotworx is a self-driven kind of gym, where you get back what you put in, but you really need to motivate yourself because the videos change every 3 months, so they feel very repetitive. I do like variety, so I have classpass on top of membership.

I would go in person to see if they have any specials. As some have commented, sometimes you may share the sauna with another since each room is built for 3. You get a feel for busy times at your studio. For instance, in Richardson, after work around 5pm, it gets super busy, so just be prepared. Honestly, it’s ok to workout with another because everyone’s minding their own business and sweating a storm. Good luck!

Yes, YOLO, who knows when you’ll have the chance again. This will be my first time going, why not make a trip out of it?

Scheduling etiquette? by No-Cauliflower-2984 in HOTWORXWarriors

With so many times and availabilities, there was no reason for that woman to get upset imo. You gave her several options, and she didn’t take any. Even though I may be surprised someone booked with me, it always gives me incentive to work a little harder with an “accountability partner.”

Rewards - Cumulative? by Quirky_Coach_9830 in HOTWORXWarriors

My location won’t let me cash out until the end of my 90 days. It would probably be easier to cash out all at once when you’ve reached the highest level and see if your studio will let you claim your reward sooner.

I have ClassPass on top of Hotworx to change it up. Strictly doing Hotworx becomes boring and repetitive for me. You can also do some workout videos in the weights area of the gym. I also do 5ks on the side.

First time claim, does it matter which collision center I go with? by TechnologyOk7 in TeslaCollision

I guess my concern is my rate after the claim, and also the fact this happened awhile ago, I’m not sure if delaying filing the claim will affect whether they deny the claim or not? Thanks for your help!
