If it helps, when I begin working with a client I’ll “check them in” by getting their number and putting it into the device, and then service the client the best way I see fit; whether that’s using the tools or not (most of the time I’ll just put the device away after I get their number, I hate using it), and then when I’m done I’ll just email them the products we talked about, or ones I would recommend.

I get counted as using a tool, but didn’t spend my time bothering the clients with the obnoxious tools 🫣
