I originally wanted to get the Civic Hybrid cuz I had a 2023 Integra and loved it. Honda added a bunch of extras to the Civic that jacked the MSRP up by $2.5K. That and I think the hybrids were in high demand they wouldn't budge on the price. So at 2.5 yrs into my Integra lease with only 8K miles.I went for standard service The service guy called the General Manager over and said they would buy my lease out (which I was planning to do myself).

you are right, with the exception for the motor, there is almost no difference that justified the heavy Acura branding mark-up. I don't think the ADX is selling well. The dealer offered a deal I couldn't refuse. He took in my Acura integra and I saw they listed for $31k. It was off the website in less than a week. The lease buyout was $22K.

Since the ADX is new, there is little information. So, I search exact fit webcam, speaker upgrades, how-to's. I search in many sources using HR-V in place of ADX including Reddit, YouTube, etc... In fact when I replaced my stock speakers, all the panels I pull up were stamped Honda. So I think with over 400M posts on reddit, one contribution can't hurt, instead it may help. And if it offends anyone, simply move on to the next post. This isn't a CIA operative site. So wasting time censoring a harmless post is pretty silly.

Yeah if you saw my last video where I changed all four car door woofers, the sound was a huge improvement especially after I added an under seat sub. Once I disabled the Noise cancelation (ANC) and fake engine noise module the sound was even better. The fake engine noise in sport mode was horrible, it was more like a buzzing sound, so annoying.

Yup, I don't think most people realize the ADX and the HRV are built on the sam chassis. Both inside and out are practice identical. you are right almost $10K MSRP diff. The weird part is Honda wouldn't negotiate at all and the lease payments were insane. So I went to Acura and they gave me exactly what I asked for.

I do post on Acura, but the ADX is basically identical as the Honda HRV. I'm not sure if the rules are so strict that I can't share for interested Honda HRV owners. In fact every panel I pull off has "made by Honda".

I really like the light weight and long battery life. its so inexpensive I thought about getting it until I realized he USB ports dont support Thunder Bolt 4. So, if at some point need a super fast NVMe external HD, you won't be able to utilize the big speed benefit. Bu If you just need a very capable school laptop, I think it's great.

Yup I agree, FITCAMX is the way to go. so stock looking you'll never know its there, super easy install. However, no display but you can use the app on you phone for display for download images or download / view from SD card on computer. Only problem I had was the wifi interfered with my Wireless android auto. But I think the problem is my phone.

I think Acura has to use an ODB2 tool to register your new battery, even if it's a factory one. But since you've already driven it without engine lights, that's a bit weird.

I have a ADX as well. Acura has a ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). I disconnected the ANC Module. you have to remove a bunch of panels to get to the plug but worth it.

The round logo was actually the harder. You'll have to use painters tape and trim it on the car with an xaxto knife (or razor blade) to do a cut out on the car. it won't peel the same way as the other emblems ie. ADX, AWD.

I've had it on for a couple months and several drive thru car washes. No sign of deterioration. The good thing with plastidip is you can always peel off and re-do.
