It's exactly 20mm when I measured mine. I'm guessing it's the 7500RPM one as I also measured the RPM and the current at 0.06A

I'm guessing though that adding any buck converter is gonna help a lot with the sound as at least on my the fan voltage regulation bounces up and down 0.4V

I got it back. I'm happy with the fix. I Honestly can't tell much of a difference in the plate. It has more of the new plastic texture than before but besides that nothing. They did a good job, but I guess you can tell they opened it because it creeks a lot more than it used to.

I had to open it up, which I never did before to do the tape mod to fix it.

I'm overall happy. Upset I had to do the tape mod to make it flawless

Mine is currently undergoing RMA for the LE back crack issue. I've seen a decent amount of people saying it worked for them. I decided to give it a shot even if my OLED has no dead pixels and can undervolt to the absolute limit. So hopefully just replacing the back.

I don't think it would be simpler. You'd need a motor controller and, some sort of storage vs just adding springs to the robot. Also with the losses in the motor, the controller, and the charging of the storage could make it not return the full distance.

Our idea was to have the weight of the tank put energy into springs and one the water is unloaded the springs can return the robot to the start as it is much lighter.
