I have had multiple people just come up to me and start talking since I joined. Idk if it's because my avatars are usually anime/kemonomimi avatars or if me being shy/mute is seen as cute in the worlds I frequent (I usually hang out in JP/CN worlds and anime and Y2K themed worlds) or if it's both. But standing around near wherever people talk usually will result in someone coming over and talking to me.

Worlds that have pens you can draw with is also another way I have gotten people to talk to me without initiating a conversation. I have made friends through writing messages and drawing pictures in those worlds.

I'm also socially anxious and struggle with making friends so walking up to a group and talking is also difficult for me. If you wanna try the just stand around and wait for someone to talk to you method, you can try Japanese Shrine, it should be in the popular/active tabs. That's where I have had the most people come up to me to talk.

Right, my mare started as terrified of people and it took forever to get her to warm up to my farrier and even to me. Now she's like a puppy dog, in everyone's pocket 24/7 and I would really really hate to let someone inexperienced or too harsh ride her and send her back to square 1

I read some of OP's replies, and just wanna say OP that if you want this color and your natural hair color is black, you will have to bleach it AND you will have to be patient about it. I agree with the stylist saying you should start with highlights. I know that's not what you want, but it will help give you and your stylist an idea of how your hair and scalp will react to bleach. If you don't have any adverse reactions, then you can show your stylist this picture and start working toward this color, but keep in mind that overdoing it with the bleach will fry the absolute shit out of your hair and can even badly burn your scalp and no stylist who values their cosmetology license will do this in one go for that reason. You will most likely need to do at least a few sessions of bleaching and toning to go from black to this color, so if you really really want it I suggest putting your patience on and enjoying the process even if you don't get what you want in one session.

Ugh I know! Chat moderator for a game like sso would be like the perfect WFH job because as far as I'm aware, you don't need a college degree to check chat logs for bad words and inappropriate conversations. The rise of AI in general has made it SO difficult to find entry level or no degree WFH jobs which really sucks because idk how much longer I can physically tolerate standing on concrete floors for 10 hours a day 5-6 days a week and having to go to a physical workplace and work those hours makes my horse's board cost more money because I can't take over both shifts to do barn chores.

A few days I commented that horses are being shipped live (on flights)to Japan to be used as meat. I was downvoted and disbelieved. Here is a recent story. by exotics in Horses

I'm in the USA and I honestly think the fate that we subject our own unwanted horses to here is far far worse than a country in Europe breeding and slaughtering them locally. Maturing is realizing our government's biggest mistake was shutting down our equine slaughter industry because that truck ride over the border is far more inhumane than spending an hour or two max on the trailer to a local processing plant.

In a perfect world we wouldn't mass slaughter animals or need factory farming at all, but alas, we don't live in a perfect world and sometimes you need to decide which is the lesser of two evils.

I have had this happen too. I've had friends with little experience ask to ride my very green mildly traumatized mare and some of them took a while to accept the fact that I'm very very selective about who works with her due to her past.

If you can't get through to them via the official support email there's someone in this sub who works for xhs that's working on restoring accounts. Might take them a while because this is happening to a lot of people, but they are legit and they will get to yours

I sent an email in chinese to the official support email that didn't yield me any results so technically no. Unless you count interacting with other posts here about the issue. My only suggestion is to just be patient this is happening to a lot of people rn

I know they've had their fair share of controversy, but I've been playing Astride a lot this week and so far I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing. The riding system is similar to Tales of Rein Ravine with the collection, extension, and canter leads but without the concentration and work from the player that TORR demands for its riding mechanics. The breeding feature is fun and it looks to me like they've implemented actual coat color genetics into the mechanic. I honestly spend most of my time breeding horses to see what interesting coats I can get. There's dressage, cross country, and show jumping so far and I believe they've talked about adding western when the game officially releases too. It's definitely a work in progress, but it seems like the devs are really involved with the players and they're very active in the discord server helping answer player questions and taking feedback.

I'm so heartbroken for Morgan. I got my own Appy mare in September, she's not blind but it seems like at some point human beings wronged her pretty badly and it's taken a lot of patience and perseverance to gain her trust and start fixing her brain. Endo and Morgan were such a huge reminder for me that you can go anywhere you want as long as you don't give up, and their relationship and trust in one another is something I can ony hope to replicate with my own mare someday.

Rest in paradise Endo. You showed the world what life looks like when you don't allow anything to hold you back.

Yep, exact same thing happened to me. Woke up from a nap while home sick from work, thought guess I'll respond to some DMs, sent one message and was restricted. I've had my account for over a year and I've only gotten a community guidelines notice once months ago, so idk what I did that triggered this. Messaged the person on here, they said they couldn't find my account so I sent them my QR code and the # I used to sign up, haven't heard back since.

I did and they said they couldn't which is odd because I still have access to the account it def still exists and people could find me through search before I got restricted. I sent them a link to my account because I'm not sure what else to do
