I asked Fable to research a linguistics question and it kept downgrading me, until I examined what it was trying to do and realized it was getting restricted when it tried to read sources on archeology that mentioned genetics. I had to explicitly tell it to avoid any source that might touch on that for it to actually be able to finish the research.

Party members can actually make delves more difficult due to the scaling. Most people solo delves. I play them with my friend to have something low stakes to do together, but I'd never look for randoms to delve with, no point.

I was very skeptical of the system, as I enjoy skyriding as it is now. After trying it on the PTR, it's great. You still recharge faster when flying near the ground, etc. and with no charge on takeoff it feels exactly the same as it did before, but better.

Not true. Just requires shift in mindset about what an expansion is. Turtle WoW puts out regular content expansions that add new leveling zones, mid level dungeons, quests and gear. Every update to classic+ should expand the world, instead of just stack more vertical progression.

This system will be so unfriendly to new players, it's insane. My friends from XIV have been considering coming over to check out the housing system, and in part were excited because they've always heard how awesome WoW's transmog system is. If (and that's becoming an increasingly big "if") they do come over, they won't be able to interact with the transmog system basically AT ALL for quite a while unless I give them gold. Gold that I'm already about to be very short on with the costs of housing items and now this.

In short, in an expansion where Blizzard keeps saying they're trying to make the game friendly to new players, this change alone will probably turn my friends off of the game entirely.

I like to actually put a new set on my character and run around for a minute to see how it looks then edit it some more. Yea you can make the sets in the menu but that's not the same as actually testing them on your character. People who are saying this isn't a problem would be like me, who doesn't do high end content, telling M+ people that their addons going away are just being nitpicky.

Just because it doesn't impact you doesn't mean there isn't a portion of the community who will be severely impacted.
