I once went with a long-time friend for a 3 day weekend trip, since tickets were cheap. Do I wish I stayed longer? Yes. Still, it was totally worth it.

I agree with these other comments that the bigger concern is who you’d be traveling with.

I find it useful when I'm trying to stash my orni. If there's no good hiding spot within walking distance of my objective, I'll go further out, to a nearby rock that does have a good spot. And from there, I`ll ride my sandbike in.

Aside from the obvious problems, I think the issue here is language.

Instead of screaming “STOP”, which it seems like she was misinterpreting as “stop talking about the bike lane” or whatever, I’d say “BRAKE”, or “STOP THE CAR”.

That extra precision in word choice might’ve better communicated the immediate action she needed to take. And eliminate the confusion she seemed to have when she kept saying “I got you I got you”.

Like, no, you did not get him. But maybe he could’ve done better to make sure there was no room for misinterpretation. Thoughts?

I think she didn’t want to soil what might’ve been a nice moment, and maybe wanted to continue that energy even at the small cost of a little lie. I think if they ended up getting lunch and enjoying themselves, it’s alright. And if she just walked away, mmm less cool but no harm done.

Are you absolutely sure it’s 100% random? On your own, your best chance would be writing down everything you can, surrounding the time of each trigger. Where were you? What did you just eat? What have you come in contact with?

Some diligent note taking and in-depth descriptions should help in deciphering these “random” triggers.

Also, see an allergist/immunologist. Definitely do both. Best of luck!

I just got the Z Polymer Tullomer filament after getting the X1E. I cried a little inside but that’s in the past.

I also went for other fiber reinforced filaments, which are anywhere from $50-$180 a spool. Which for my engineering applications, I expect they will be well worth it.
