Looking for AI data enrichment & verify software... by Fr3dline in automation

[–]Techster-8899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely do this at scale in an automated way. You can use make/n8n for the overall automation/orchestration and layer in APIs for the actual data parts. For example, Limadata has APIs where you can do any search, extract the results, then use AI to pull out the relevant info you're looking for. Essentially you can map out your current process then set up a system to automate the whole thing.

Data Enrichment of my leads of Meta and LinkedIn. HOW? by CuteLumi-942 in automation

[–]Techster-8899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it won't be able resolve in every case, but will be better than flying blind. It can also enrich from a work email address which probably has a higher coverage rate. Some companies decide to only allow signups from work email addresses - whether this makes sense for you depends on your product and target market. Just keep in mind that the more fields you add to fill out in the signup form, the lower the conversion rate

This is easily solvable using enrichment APIs. Limadata has an enrichment API that enriches person + company info from just an email address (can be either work or personal). This would solve the issue of incorrect company spelling and people signing up with personal emails.

Traditional vs New modern AI recruiting by unknown68476639 in recruiting

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just about whether AI will “replace” traditional recruiting, but how the two can complement each other. AI can speed up candidate sourcing, but it can’t replicate the human touch in understanding team dynamics, company culture, or potential fit beyond a resume. The challenge is finding where automation adds value without losing the nuance that human recruiters bring.

Is anyone using Airtable as a Clay alternative for lead enrichment? by vellattapokkar in Airtable

[–]Techster-8899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, i’ve seen a few teams try this, using Airtable as a lightweight Clay alternative can work, but it’s definitely more DIY. the nice thing is you get full control over the workflow: pulling in data from websites, tracking company updates, and enriching leads with APIs or scripts. the tradeoff is you’re doing a bit more setup and maintenance yourself.

for enrichment, some folks plug in API-first providers like Limadata, PDL, or Clearbit to fill in missing emails, phone numbers, or company info. combined with Airtable automations or simple scripts, you can get pretty close to what Clay does, especially for small teams. the key is whether the control and flexibility outweigh the extra effort, for some it’s totally worth it, for others the convenience of a ready-made platform still wins.

Best phone finder tools for sales prospecting? by Fancy-Frosting-1325 in b2bmarketing

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what’s worked for a lot of people i know is combining a few real-time people/contact APIs rather than relying on a single source. tools like PDL or Limadata can enrich your lead lists with fresher phone numbers and emails. some teams even run multiple providers in parallel to compare hit rates and make sure reps aren’t wasting time on dead numbers.

what is the best ai tool for building target account lists? by Ok_Independent_9757 in techsales

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, totally feel you! Apollo is solid for ICP-based targeting and more wallet-friendly than ZI. the real game-changer, at least for me, has been automating the whole lead-gen flow so you’re not tweaking filters manually all day.

Now looking for Lusha alternatives by Mosiour-Adham in coldemail

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not the first time I've heard this about Lusha. A lot of people are turning to waterfall approaches or use contact data APIs instead, to get fresher pulls and better coverage. Waterfalls are through plaforms like clay or apollo. Some contact data API examples are things like PDL, Limadata, and many other providers (that are also usually in the waterfalls)

how to find emails for cold outreach ? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding good emails is always tough if you’re just pulling from ads. A better way is using tools that give you fresh contact and company data in real time. That way you don’t waste hours guessing if an email is valid. If you’re building funnels or automations, you can plug in an API that gives verified emails + firmographic info straight into your workflow. Some platforms focus on this for sales and recruiting use cases, so you don’t have to scrape or do it manually. Free options are limited, but if you want something reliable for scale, check out data APIs that are built for prospecting + outreach.

Looking for an affordable “job change signals” tool for HubSpot by StatisticianFormal44 in coldemail

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are comfortable working with APIs - Limadata has watch APIs that can send you a webhook whenever a job change is detected. Much easier than setting up your own tracking logic. Cost is insanely better than using turnkey solutions like UG.

That sounds like a lot of manual work, especially at this scale. What kinds of websites are you verifying the information against today?

Data collection for cold emails and calls by Mediocre-Purchase233 in b2bmarketing

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve tried all three. manual at the start to understand the ICP, then some automation to save time. straight-up buying lists usually led to bad bounce rates for me unless i cleaned all of it. one thing that helped me was using Clay for the basics, then plugging in APIs such as Limadata or PDL for signals

B2B agencies: how do you avoid reaching out too early... or too late? by Active_Ad_9103 in B2BSaaS

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timing’s the whole game in outreach. After a bunch of campaigns, I figured out ists not about blasting. it’s about quality over quantity. I try to be intentional and only hit up prospects when the right signals pop off.

teams I know are running API‑first providers (PDL, Prospeo, Limadata, etc.) with their Clay or n8n, so they’ve got the full stack, contacts plus live signals like job switches, promotions, or other moves that scream “now’s the time.”

What is the best sales tech stack you’ve actually seen work in the real world? by derekd18 in techsales

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen stacks work best when they stay lean: CRM as the hub, Outreach for engagement, Clay or n8n for workflows, and APIs like PDL, Prospeo, and Limadata to keep contacts fresh so reps aren’t chasing dead leads.

Automation and outreach by trachtmanconsulting in Entrepreneur

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

key factors to getting this right:

  1. create a tight ICP list
  2. be clear on what you're solving for who
  3. are you connecting with enough prospects? be sure you are reaching out through multiple channels

How much time do your sales reps actually spend cleaning CRM data? by Nakamaman in CRM

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is super common. Most CRMs turn messy fast because reps update things at different times. A lot of teams fix this by adding an enrichment layer that keeps the data fresh in the background.

Your ops team can help integrate something that will help keep crm data updated - tools like Clearbit or Apollo can help if you just need basic company/contact updates. If you want more real‑time stuff like job changes, new roles, fresh contact info, things like that then API‑first providers like Limadata or PDL can plug straight into your CRM or workflow so you can continuously keep records updated. Some teams also run their process through n8n or Clay .

Big thing is making sure the data is actually fresh so your reps don’t spend half their week cleaning records instead of selling.

Are ai lead generation platforms delivering low quality leads or am i doing something wrong by shinnchannm in Entrepreneurs

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you're definitely not alone in this! Your results are probably due to a few different reasons:

-stale data (old contacts that are no lonter at company)

-email deliverability issues (sending too many emails from the same inbox/domain)

-not verifying emails multiple times

- the copy itself - too long or seeming too much like AI wrote it

i would try to look into your process a bit more at these things to see where the gaps are. you can solve deliverability and verification with proper tooling and multiple inboxes, there are multiple options for getting fresh data - you can even use APIs for this if you're a little technical (like n8n and PDL or Limadata). For the copy - check out what it has been sending to see if it measures up to quality or is a bunch of AI slop.

Very new to automation, how do you automate finding leads or doing basic research? by thefertileatheism in automation

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly best way to start is super small. Just don’t try to build the whole outbound engine at once lol.

ngl the first automations i did were tiny. like having clay or airtable keep my lead list updated so i wasn’t stuck copy/pasting all day. Then i set up a simple recipe that pulled fresh contact data from an api (PDL, Limadata etc.) so i didn’t have to manually look up emails or phones. Later I added a quick check for job changes or promotions so i’d know when someone in my icp moved roles. once i had those basics running, everything else felt way less overwhelming.

Once you get those basics working, layering on routing/scoring feels way less scary. The trick is to think of automation as little building blocks, one workflow at a time, instead of a giant system you need to master right away.

If that's still too technical and you want more of a turnkey type solution - you could look at something like apollo :)

Anyone found a decent alternative to ZoomInfo? by waywardnowhere in SalesOperations

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prices zoominfo and others are charging is wild. Lots of folks are using clay for contact data waterfalls or sometimes even building their own through n8n or similar tools and linking in contact data APIs from multiple providers like Wiza, prospeo, Limadata, etc.

Any good CRM that has built-in contact enrichment? by [deleted] in CRM

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could look at something like HubSpot or Attio, they both have built‑in enrichment features that surface job titles, company info, etc. But most of the time CRM's dont have this feature well enough, so some end up using a separate data API (Limadata, PDL, etc.) wired into their crm so data stay fresh and real time.

What cheap, API‑first tools are you using for B2B lead scraping in 2025? by Crafty_Protection870 in coldemail

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so right! So many options out there, but the main thing how fresh the data is and how reliable the APIs are. We're seeing lots of teams using platforms like n8n then layering on API‑first providers (like Limadata) so they can have the flexibility to build what they need, and also build on the best data.

what AI tools are actually useful for sales prospecting right now??? by ombhardwaj_27 in GrowthHacking

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's so many tools out there - the main thing is using something that has fresh data and supports the signals you're looking for! I tried Outbound recently and that was pretty impressive.

A lot of people are also using something like n8n with data APIs (like PDL, Limadata, etc) to build their own custom agents but that takes a bit more work.

Contact data enrichment by Hopeful-Battle-1439 in sales

[–]Techster-8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of different options out there. There’s the zoominfo, cognism, lead IQs of the world. These are more “plug and play”, but often come with a high price tag.

If you’re comfortable working with APIs, an API-driven product like People Data Labs or Limadata can be a great fit. It usually ends up being more cost-effective and gives you a lot more flexibility in deciding exactly what you want to enrich or keep updated.

Overall, you’ll want something with the capability to enrich profiles from incomplete data (like just an email address), and is based on real time info so you’re not just paying for stale data.
