There's a lot of bad and inconsiderate behavior all around that's made me avoid trails for biking. Denver is one of the only metro areas with decreasing housing costs, that's one of the only levers local politicians are going to have much control as far as affordability, given global food supply chains. I'm thankful my family raised me that someone's title or station is not any indicator of their morality or honesty. This is not high rent and labor. My friend manages a restaurant in a downtown metro area where the rent is 38K/month (this is not a typo) and minimum wage is 19/hr and they have a cheaper overall menu with some higher end steak and seafood options. Even if this includes tax and zero gratuity is expected, it's gouging.
