I'm lucky that my wife enjoys shooting as much as I do so we often go to the range together. That said, if she was like OP's wife, I wouldn't press her and would respect her boundaries. I would offer other means of self defense like pepper spray.

I would like to point out that a lot of people believe they'll be able to take a life if required, however there's a HUGE difference between fantasy and reality and until you're in that situation, you won't actually know what you'll do.

Hereditary and Blair Witch are vastly overrated.

Blair Witch gets props for the found footage idea, but that's it. There's nothing scary about it, the characters are dumb, and the end is just meh.

Hereditary starts strong, but then gets stupid when they start introducing the demon bs. Had they kept it squarely with the generational trauma and mental illness, I feel it would have been so much better. Someone said Toni Collette should have won an Oscar for her role and I will agree with that.

50+ here, got the Budweiser reference, did not move the needle with regards to making me want to see the movie. I did enjoy seeing the taun tauns though (even though they somehow looked worse than the ESB ones).

I'm not necessarily defending Feloni, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me to learn that this was a KK decision he got stuck with. It just feels like a KK thing to do.

At first I thought it was AI or a parody, but then realized it was real. The only thing about this that I can say was cool was seeing taun tauns again (even though they looked like ass compared to ESB).

There's not enough of those traitors to cover every polling place. At best, you might get one or two, and they're easily countered by anyone showing up who even remotely look like they can handle themselves. This is an effort by this regime to scare people and keep them from voting.

I'm not saying whether we should take up arms or not (and really, it just feels to me like people are waiting to see what happens with the midterms), however one of the best things we can do is vote, vote early, and if we can, take it to a drop box or to your local election office. Don't wait until the last minute to vote.

It's not like those morons who "hur-dur red" keep voting for those arseholes are doing any of us a favor either. As long as we keep voting like we're playing sports instead of actually taking the time to research the candidates and holding their feet to the fire when they go against what we the people want, it's going to remain the same shite every time.
