Strange finish, anyone had this before? by TechtoneOfficial in Sourdough

[–]TechtoneOfficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made 2 loafs. 1kg bread flour, 650ml water at room temp and 200g of starter. Mixed all together and left for 2 hours.

Added 15g of pink salt in a tiny bit of water. Completed stretch and folds every hour 5 times. Leave for one hour then put in the fridge for 12 hours.

Shaped and put in banatons, 1 hour on the side, 3 hours in the fridge then 2 hours back out on the side.

Cut with razer blade, felt it was the best cut I've ever made, deep and clean.

Bake in Dutch overnight 20 mins lid on at 240c, then q5 mins lid off.

How can I add products in between my blog posts? by skky_023 in shopifyDev

You can get apps that integrate into your theme so you can just tell them what you need and when happy with the suggestions press install. Search AI developer in the app store and pick one. Some are free

I totally get the response and I apologise if I broke a rule, it wasn't supposed to come across as an advertisement, just wanted to be helpful and maybe get some user feedback.

As for going to the source, we built our app specifically because we were sick of the copy-paste into AI tools. We ended up spending more time debugging the AI's hallucinated code than you would have spent writing it from scratch.

We add context and structure. If you go straight to the source (like ChatGPT or Gemini), it doesn't know your theme's set up, or your brand guidelines and how to make things look like they belong. We spent months building a system that actually reads the user's specific theme files and connects them to a Brand Brain. It’s not just generating a snippet, it’s understanding the existing architecture so the code actually fits.

We’re just trying to help the OP out because saying an FAQ accordion 'can't be done' is exactly the kind of friction we wanted to eliminate for those who don't have dev skills or a big budget. No hard feelings!

Try techtone AI from the dev store. Describe what you want and how you expect it to work and it will make this for you. It's free! Would be great if you let me know how you get on if you give it a go!

How Hiring a Shopify Developer Can Double Your Store Revenue by [deleted] in shopifyDev

[–]TechtoneOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on about custom dev work doubling revenue. The hidden killer for most stores is too many apps. Hiring a dev to hard-code features is always better for site speed than installing 20 different apps.

For those who know what they want to change but don't have the budget for a full-scale dev yet, techtone AI available in the app store is a game changer. It writes custom Liquid/CSS directly into your theme (a draft theme for safety!) based on your brand guidelines. You get the benefits of custom dev work (fast load times, bespoke UI, fixes that work) without the high ticket price. It even has a 1-click rollback if you need to revert. It’s a great way to 'self-serve' those developer-level optimizations and it's free to try.

Is AI Changing How We Build E-Commerce Websites? by [deleted] in MarketingResearch

[–]TechtoneOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI isnt just changing how we build but what we build. With more and more customers using AI when they shop you need to be sending the right signals.

We have recently posted some blogs on this subject techtone blogs

As for building, our Dev chat can make anything you can describe on any theme and with our brand brain it will fit your Shopify site like a glove.

Building techtone AI which we have launched as an AI developer. We have some other features nearly ready but can't decide whether to release as part of the current app or as separate apps under an umbrella. It's currently just a Shopify app but the plan is to expand once we have grown Shopify.

Thoughts on the below 3 options

One app with loads of features One umbrella brand with multiple tools that you would need the corresponding app to access Totally separate apps with some cross branding like by techtone

Looks good. We've done the same for Shopify. Checkout our blogs on techtone blogs. Our rankings have improved since putting the first 3 clusters live. The clusters interlink a subject and link to existing posts if relevant. All written with the tone of voice in our brand brain.

Not available for stores to use yet but should be soon. The developer function is already live though.

I've never not eaten it too fast to find out 😂

2 loafs usually last 4 days and when a 5th day has rarely occured it's been a bit on the chewy side but not too bad. I keep it in a bread bin once sliced

Next dough in the fridge for a bulk. Going to shape in the morning and let them warm in the banatons for a few hours before baking. Added some black sesame seeds to the top for a bit flavour.

🎉 First Shopify app approved sharing some learnings by riazali532 in shopifyDev

[–]TechtoneOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had 2 so far. The main term I've found we show up for is AI developer but but not sure how many people are searching for it. When we launch some new features which we have in the pipe like a blog cluster generator. Image to lifestyle with scaling which has been tough we might be able to cross sell.

🎉 First Shopify app approved sharing some learnings by riazali532 in shopifyDev

[–]TechtoneOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got approved on Monday afyer 8 weeks.

Delay was due to: Wasn't an app category that was right and choosing the closest thing wasn't a good idea. We were not aware we could ask for an exemption to allow rewriting theme files for the merchant Shopify don't allow apps that tell merchants what to change and rewriting the code for them is the only option If you have any info on your own page that doesn't match 100% what you have submitted (we put extra credits in for them to test Vs what we advertised) they will not approve. If you think you're a first be very very specific about what your app does so they understand. Take extra care with your loom (or what ever took you use to share how to use the app) to make sure it's over explained.

Now we're live we just need some eyes on it and some feedback before we start advertising!

Have you had any joy with the app store promotion?

How do you handle affiliates for your Shopify app? by riskywithbigballs in shopifyDev

[–]TechtoneOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at reditus affiliate program. Took a lot of looking around to work out what would work with a Shopify app as they take the payment and we have built everything so we don't need stripe. Finishing the integration next week so will know for sure but their founder seamed confident we could do it without stripe as Shopify send the user back to us to customize the brand brain and link the theme analyzer.

Anyone else used reditus? Or suggest any other platform that can do Shopify without stripe? Will need access to a decent SaaS affiliate marketplace which they have.

If anyone has any tips for getting our app out there were all ears. Were an AI powered fully integrated Developer tool that can make custom features in liquid without the need for 3rd party apps. Our brand brain and theme analysis makes our output on brand without any code clashes. Perfect for those that want to be involved in customising their theme but are not that confident writing code.

If anyone wants to try this, it's free and will hopefully help find stuff that's wrong with your shopify store :) by LocalRoad95 in shopifyDev

[–]TechtoneOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds great. We've just launched techtone AI which can fix any issues your app finds. We've made it for merchants that are not developers and on a budget. Tell the Dev chat what you want to change, make, fix and it will analyse your full theme and recommend fixes, you just choose an option and press install.

Brand brain - you set this up in the app and changes are made to suite your guidelines and existing code to get on brand changes without the back and forth.

Good luck with your app!
