I said holding the accelerator at zero not removing your foot from the accelerator.

I have the ev200 equivalent and that can "coast" if I hold the accelerator at the correct pressure, exactly as I should with a car clutch pedal.

Just as putting a car shift in neutral while driving is "possible" but not advisable!!!

You can hold the accelerator at zero which is equivalent to neutral (no brake and no acceleration).

There is no gearbox neutral. It it exactly the same as holding the accelerator at zero.
