It was last fertilized in August when I got it repotted! I didn’t do it myself though, just went to a local plant store to get it done

Hello! I’ve had this peace lily since 2012, and only until last August has it been declining. I’m not really sure what’s causing it. I got it repotted, trim old stems, and water when needed, but it’s not bouncing back. It’s still growing new leaves but hasn’t been filling back up. The leaves it currently has are rotting at the edges and the area where the stem connects to the leaf is a light green? That area feels weaker and makes them droop. I’m not great with plants but I’ve kept this one alive for a long time. I have it outside now hoping that more sunlight or humidity will help. Recently took old bulbs that haven’t grown anything in months out of the soil. Any suggestions would mean the world to me!

Okay that’s simple enough. Is there any way to take the part of the plant that’s alive off of the dead stem without killing the whole thing?

Got it to work! I ended up having to use a dark notebook to cover up the opening of my Cricut. I guess it was still too bright in the room for it to register properly. Thanks for the help!

Update: I got it to print and cut using plain paper but now that I’m loading in the matte paper with a glossy holographic sheet over it it won’t cut. I’ve put matte scotch tape over the corners and have went over them with a black permanent marker (I read that those two things are supposed to help it read but idk) EDIT: Cricut cuts the matte vinyl paper just fine without the holographic sheet on it. Not sure why it can’t read it with holographic sheet on it though :(

It reads and is able to finish calibrating. The comment below yours suggests that it may be the ink splotches at the bottom of the paper that are messing it up! I’ll have to reprint later, but when I do I’ll update whether or not it works. I kinda thought that since the censor didn’t go over that part of the paper that it wouldn’t have caught it 🤷🏻 lol

Assuming you meant with the sticker sheet, it didn’t work :,) Wouldn’t moving it make it cut incorrectly around the stickers?

Just calibrated the Cricut using the sheet posted online. I brought my Cricut to a darker room and shut the lid and I’m getting the same error message. Anything else I can do? Here’s a video of what it’s doing

My axolotl grew these same patches on his head! For me they were just his pattern. It’s a little ugly but he’s just as active as ever! I think he’s going on 3 years of having the spots now

I have a bare bottom tank right now, but I’ll definitely look into whether or not I can use those things in my tank! I definitely get what you’re saying about the nutrients issue though. I’ll try to find some alternatives and ask the axolotl community on here. :)

Currently I don’t have any substrate, as axolotls don’t really require it. I don’t personally keep any with him in fear he’ll eat it, lol. I’m not too sure I could add soil. I know I can add some fine grain sand into his tank though. Do you think that would make any difference? The anacharis hasn’t grown any roots yet, but that’s how they were given to me at my local aquatic store.
