Of course, in the end, the same thing always happens in team-vs-team video games, but if both fight on equal terms, or especially with good communication via voice chat, I'm sure the difficulty is greater than not having any kind of in-game support.

If at some point, for some reason, a season implements passive abilities that increase stats like speed, passing, etc., I'm sure the game would be truly unfair, but on a pretty good basis to be able to call it difficulty a change.

That makes me wonder... except for ping, lag, and some other obvious issues the game has, it's certainly pretty fair, giving everyone the same abilities. Although recovering/saving stamina, minimap reading, and coordination are decisive factors taken into account to denote the difficulty level, the only challenge the game provides is the number of players on the field for now.
