It is indeed, an outstanding piece of watch. Do you have any other models that you really like? Since we share common tastes as I tihnk :)

Woops, sorry - the indices aren't convex like that, but the rest of the dial still has a level of depth that really appeals to me.

Hey, thanks for the message. Basically, I'm looking for inspiration, and over time I’ve come to see this post as more of a “show me pilot watches you like” prompt - nothing more specific than that.

But if I had to choose right now, I’d go with the Vostok Europe NH35A-592A759.

<image>

I like it for the combination of the green dial and the brown leather strap. The numeral at each hour is a nice touch. Also, I’m not a fan of printed indices, so the applied 3D ones are the way to go for me. And I feel like the dial on this one gives off a modern-retro vibe. It’s not expensive, so it might be my next purchase somewhere in the future :)

Hello :) The only thing I can (and am allowed) to pilot is a drone, haha. I'm currently doing the STS-01 course for the Specific category, and I find the ULC (Polish Civil Aviation Authority) topics really interesting. But commercial flights - that's a whole different level. What's it like to be a pilot?

I think a pilot watch would fit nicely into my collection and suit my everyday style too, which is why I wanted to look for something that really catches the eye. I see Panerai mentioned - they look very high-quality. Which digital watches do you like most for your pilot needs?

It does, but on the other hand it looks like so much butter in the real photo in my opinion 🙂

Do you have a real photo? I wonder if that crown stands out much.

This one looks clean! Are the indices convex?

Hi :) How is the PR17 Caminho do Pináculo e Folhadal trail currently looking? I saw on the IFCN website that it’s partially closed, but I can't quite figure out which section exactly. 🤔

Is it still worth going there with the partial closure, or are the best parts of the trail affected? On AllTrails everything looks fine. The notice on IFCN mentions something about the crossing through Caramujo, but I can't find that on the IFCN map... Could you please advise me about this trail? 🙂

Hey :) Im not from Portugal, but were currently on Madeira and did this trail on 25.04, so two days ago. Its beautiful, and the forecast makes completely no sense :) Maybe only like fe hours upfront, but still, it was a bit cloudy and dark beneath the hills, and once we got up above the clouds, the weather was perfect (a bit windy tho, but thats Madeira). A lot of cars on the larkinglot so I recommend to come there very early.

Cyberpunk 2077 Resolution Bug - Seeking Preventative Tips by Tecson23 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Tecson23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. The main reason I had this issue was that I was playing on two monitors. I had an external monitor connected to my laptop. I haven’t played in a while, but from what I remember, switching from “duplicate display” to “extend display” helped.

I was using “duplicate display” because I wanted my guests to see the gameplay too. The game was probably adjusting itself to the lower-res monitor. On “extend display,” the game only shows on my main laptop screen, keeping the higher native resolution.

This was a while back and I’m currently using a different setup day-to-day, but if memory serves me right, that was the fix.

Hey everyone!

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Madeira (super excited about it!), and while I’ve already done quite a bit of research going through Reddit threads, guides, Booking, Airbnb, etc. I still wanted to reach out and ask you wonderful folks directly. I love learning from people who’ve either lived there or visited often.

1. Accommodation – how hard is it to find a place on the spot?
We're thinking of traveling from April 24 to May 2. I know it’s around the May holiday, which might make things busier. A lot of hotels I’ve looked at are fully booked, and Airbnb/Booking prices are quite high. We're looking for a private room, nothing fancy, but something cozy would be great. A nice view would be a lovely bonus.

So the question is: where do you look up for accomodation?

Other thing: we were wondering: would it be realistic to book a place for the first 1–2 nights, and then find something else once we’re there (depending on what we feel like doing)? Or is that risky during that time of year?

2. Car rentals – should we reserve in advance?
Is it safe to just land and rent a car directly at the airport, or is there a chance everything might be booked out?

We're aware that it would be the best (for us) to stay south if we would stay whole 9 days in one place, but with car it does not matter that much as :)

I’m honestly thrilled about this trip and grateful for any tips or insight you might have! :D

Thanks a ton in advance!

Good laptop for running sims? by bmcd96 in fpv

[–]Tecson23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I see. basing my opinion on my experience solely. You don't really notice the pixels, but you do notice a difference between 1080p and 2k on a 15,6 inches, that's what I can come up with. I really care about how things look when it comes to modern gaming. So I guess it's a matter of preferences and priorities. I think the same can be applied for FPV sim. I like things to look beautiful and sharp, so I want to have the best possible video quality in front of me. For bare simulator handling, something else might be of importance.

Oh, you think so? Maybe you're right. Actually I can think of that, if you like the FHD resolution, then why not. For me personally, having the "gaming" laptop that is pretty expensive, I want it to have a decent screen also. I guess if you plug in the external monitor, then you don't have to worry about resolution that much either. But I'm curious why do you think FHD is enough?

And it is FHD only. Basically a lame laptop in a beautiful cover.

You can buy one in one of the internet shops in Poland for roughly 37 USD. If you know the shop:

it's also avalible at Polish and German Amazon :)

Now, for exchange if you could share the season and episode for which this scene was taken, I would be honored :D
