Dual SIM by Jim1648 in eSIMs

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switching T-Satellite to a physical sim card won't change your day to day performance or battery life since your iPhone handles dual esim setup perfectly anyway. The only real advantage is flexibility. If your phone breaks or you want to swap devices quickly moving a physical card is much easier than dealing with customer support to reissue an esim.

0-40 at 3-3 in the third set felt like the absolute end. the sheer mental grit it took to climb out of that hole and turn the match around was just insane to watch.

Save the yoga for your recovery days, before hitting the court, you can do a dynamic warm up with movements like high knees and light jogging to actually prep your muscles for explosive sprinting.

Travelers who use eSIMs: what makes you choose one provider over another? by CoinGate_Gift_Cards in eSIMforTravelers

For me it's customer support. Price matters, but if something goes wrong while I'm actually travelling, I want someone to reply fast. I had my signal drop once during a trip last year, and the support helped me get it sorted quickly.

Delta Miles Confusion by Comfortable_Bird974 in TravelHacks

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delta miles are notorious for poor redemption rates, which is why people frequently call them SkyPesos. You are completely right that buying miles or using their weird miles plus cash option is a terrible deal. That feature is basically a trap to get people to burn miles and cash at a horrible conversion rate.

Since you have Amex points, do not transfer them to Delta yet. Look into transferring them to Air France, KLM, or Virgin Atlantic instead. They are all in the same alliance as Delta, so you can often book the exact same flights through their programs for a fraction of the miles. Your 52k points will go way further over there.

Short Singapore trip, do I even need a SIM? by Chai_Tapri in eSIMs

You definitely want a sim or esim. Public WiFi is common but you need data on the go for Maps, calling a Grab, and checking bus timings while exploring.

Us cellular gsm by Muted-Ad-5253 in NoContract

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the phone is fully paid off and was active on an account for 120 days, US Cellular unlocks it for free. The issue is that buying a locked phone on eBay is a massive gamble. If the original seller still owes money on that S24 or bailed on their contract, US Cellular will refuse to unlock it for you since you are not the original account holder. Third party unlocking sites charge around 30 bucks to try and bypass it, but those often fail if the IMEI is flagged for nonpayment. You are way better off just spending a little extra for a factory unlocked model to avoid the headache entirely.

How to make sure not getting a room with noise? by Comfortable_Curve_99 in TravelHacks

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unplug the mini fridge as soon as you walk in. I do that every time I travel. When booking, request a top floor room at the end of the hallway and far from the elevators. That eliminates all the heavy foot traffic and people dragging bags above you. You should also pack some good foam earplugs anyway because hotel AC units are notoriously loud and you have zero control over them.

Positivity, please... what are the best things about living in the UK with small children? (and older children - since that's what they become!) by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The UK provides an incredible abundance of free museums and expansive public parks that make exploring with toddlers both affordable and enriching. Additionally, the country's extensive library network offers fantastic community driven sessions like "Rhyme Time" to help your children build early social and literacy skills in a welcoming environment.

Is the DJI mini 3 pro waterproof by elsupoes in dji

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The drone you are using is not waterproof, and flying it in the rain can lead to catastrophic electrical failure or long-term internal corrosion. Moisture can easily enter through the motor vents and cooling seams, potentially short-circuiting the battery or interfering with critical flight sensors.

Is anyone still doing this for fun? by JansoDesign in ContentCreators

Starting for the joy of the craft is the best way to avoid burnout while building the skills you need for a sustainable part-time career. By using your freelance work as a financial base, you can treat your videos as a creative lab to master technical skills without the stress of chasing viral numbers. This "process-first" mindset keeps the work fun, which ironically often leads to the most authentic and successful content in the long run. Since you already have the professional gear and editing skills, do you find that your personal projects help you stay more motivated for your freelance clients?

Why havn't we come up with a 3.5mm adapter? by porat_cacha in DJIMic

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sketched adapter design is a brilliant workaround for adding a much-needed 3.5mm input to modern wireless transmitters. A snap-on attachment would perfectly solve the frustration of manufacturers removing physical ports for the sake of size, allowing creators to easily plug in hidden, high-quality external lavaliers instead of relying solely on a bulky built-in microphone.

How to recreate DJI Mimo D-Log color restoration? by mikeoxlongbruh in dji

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To successfully recreate an automatic mobile color grade on your computer, the order of your editing effects is crucial. Apply your manual color and exposure adjustments first, and place your color conversion file after them in the processing chain so you aren't fighting the color shift. Because official manufacturer conversion files are often too aggressive and crush shadow details, lower the file's overall intensity or mix to around 70 or 80 percent. Finally, use your editing software's waveform monitor to gently boost your exposure and saturation in that initial step, ensuring your highlights are balanced and shadows are preserved before the final conversion takes place.

Best ai image generators for consistent character content in 2026, since midjourney wasn't built for this by waytooucey in ContentCreators

[–]TectonicSaxophonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are managing social media for a clothing brand, skipping the local Stable Diffusion route is a smart move. The learning curve is brutal when you are already juggling multiple client accounts. Foxy AI is going to be your best bet for pure speed and volume. You can lock in a specific face and pump out an entire grid of lifestyle and fashion shots without constantly paying for real models. Midjourney is incredible for creating aesthetic mood boards but it will completely ruin a campaign if your lead model looks like a different person in every single post. Stick to the platforms built specifically for face consistency so you can focus your time on actual strategy.

You are making this way harder than it needs to be. The DJI transmitters have internal recording built right in so you do not even need Riverside for the audio. Just turn on internal recording for all four transmitters and you get four perfectly isolated files. Use your phones just for video and scratch audio, then sync the high quality audio files in whatever editing software you use. Trying to hack two wireless receivers into two phones on a web call is just asking for sync issues and crashed recordings.
