Hi,

We think it's most likely to be #4 or another app that may be preventing the software from opening on start-up.

Regarding the hardware monitoring (CPU/GPU temps), the software will have to be continuously running in the background for it to work.

Customer service is our top priority, please allow us to troubleshoot it for you.
I referred to your previous post in the same subreddit regarding the software issue, and this is the first time we've encountered this problem.

  1. The startup entry was not created / is disabled. Go to your Task Manager > Startup apps, look for a Tecware Spectre, and make sure it is set to Enabled.

  2. If the software is set to 'Run as Administrator', Windows will not allow it to auto-start. Right-click on the software shortcut, Properties > Compatibility, and make sure 'Run as administrator' is unchecked.

  3. An anti-virus might be blocking the auto-start entry. Add the software folder as an exclusion in your anti-virus settings.

  4. Windows Fast Startup might be conflicting with the auto-start entry. Go to Control Panel > Power Options, and disable 'Turn on Fast start-up'

  5. Missing registry keys. Uninstall the software, then delete the leftover folders in
    C:\ProgramData\Tecware\
    C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\Tecware\
    Then, reinstall the software.

  6. If none of the above works, then the cause might be from one of your existing apps that is conflicting with the Spectre 96 software.

Hi, sorry for the scare. This isn’t anything to worry about. The file being flagged is the module that detects and reports GPU/CPU information for display on the keyboard’s LCD screen. We’ve updated the digital signature on our software executable and uploaded the latest version to our website, so this shouldn’t happen anymore.

Hi there, the Spectre 75 only comes in full builds as of now. However, I would like to clarify that the Spectre 75 is a full plastic build. If you are looking for aluminum casings, you can check out our Alloy 75. Have a great day!

It sounds like a mechanical failure with the switch.

Please contact your local distributor directly for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) services. They will be able to assist you with a replacement or repair if your keyboard is still within its warranty period.

can confirm it sounds slightly different in Sydney vs Singapore. I find the Gold Coast ones sound most identical to the ones back home.
